L'Archetto In Viterbo

Yesterday evening I was in this restaurant. It was so good that I regretted not taking photos, but the chickpea soup with chestnuts, the arrosticini and the tagliata were really good. I recommend it.

We stumbled upon it by chance. It's a lovely place, excellent food, and attentive, smiling, and professional waitresses. Really good.

The restaurant offers a pleasant, intimate, informal, enjoyable, and tasty experience. The atmosphere is charming, extending between the interior and exterior of an alleyway with an archway adorned with ornamental plants. In warm weather, you can eat outside, along the street (no cars). Inside, it's well-organized. The only flaw is the bathroom, which is tiny and poorly maintained, but efficient. The food is definitely the strong point. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, never disappoints. The menu is seasonally themed; in the fall, chestnut-based pasta dishes are available. They feature amatriciana and tripe, both of which are not typical of Tuscia and are therefore revisited in their own style. The value for money is good, especially since it's difficult to leave disappointed by the food.

A lovely trattoria in the center of Viterbo. The interior is very welcoming, though there aren't many tables, while there are more outside, in the courtyard in front of the restaurant, and in the small square. Service is fast and professional. The chicory fritters are delicious. The first courses are interesting. I was a bit disappointed by the stew, perhaps a little bland and with very few potatoes. The zuppa inglese is also good, made in a fairly traditional way. Excellent prices. I recommend it.

A wonderful little spot where you can enjoy a hearty pasta dish at a good price! We followed their recommendations and ordered two pasta dishes, which they split so we could share since I couldn't have cheese in mine due to my pregnancy. They were incredibly kind and offered to make us two small portions, one with cheese and one without. The dessert was delicious, and they were very friendly.

Spectacular carbonara in a quaint little restaurant in the heart of medieval Viterbo, at a fair price and much more. Reservations are recommended because the place is small.

When you travel and are lucky enough to find these magnificent and honest places! I absolutely recommend it! The food is excellent, the staff is very kind, and the prices are very reasonable! I thank Elisabetta for her kindness!
