If you want to try a true Apulian restaurant, or rather, a Bari-based one, Mimmo's restaurant will offer you a flavorful experience that rivals any typical restaurant in the heel of Italy. The menu is a mix of typical products from the Apulian hinterland, the "Murgia" area, with a few seaside excursions. These aren't "revisited" dishes, but rather slightly adapted to appeal to a wider clientele, without the extremes you might find in more well-known restaurants or the most popular pizzerias on social media. I'm referring to the fried panzerotti, which in Apulia are delicious and human-sized, while in some infamous places in Bari they are sized worthy of the Cyclopes in Ulysses' Odyssey. Absolutely try the fried panzerotto and the spaghetti all'assassina, in winter broad beans and chicory, and the capocollo from Martina Franca. Final rating: 5 Super Stars!

Excellent experience. I expected something more from the revisited "Roman" starters with octopus, but they were good. The panzerotti were delicious, and the bread and taralli were exceptional.

An absolutely fantastic place, with a truly pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. A very kind woman greeted us. The pasta is exceptional, and the octopus in a pot is simply incredible. I'm really happy I discovered this place. I'll definitely be back!

Well done, very well done! As a native of Puglia, I can confidently say that I've finally found a place in Rome where Puglian dishes are respected and faithfully reproduced, and at perfectly reasonable prices. I had the best spaghetti all'assassina of my life. The owners are also Puglian, and by that I mean they make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, where every corner exudes Puglia. What can I say? Being from Puglia, I can only confirm the authenticity, deliciousness, and quality of their dishes, with highlights like the various variations of spaghetti all'assassina, the bread meatballs (my companion said they were the best he'd ever eaten), and the panzerotti. But everything we tried on the menu—and we tried many—lived up to our expectations. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the location was captivating. If you're missing the flavors of home or simply love Apulian cuisine, treat yourself to a visit. Top!

The guys who opened this restaurant bring with them the strength of their apprenticeship gained from previous experience in Apulian street food... the food is very good and traditional, the atmosphere is simple and pleasant.
