We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday. The quality was above average; chef Giuseppe delighted us with dishes worthy of two Michelin stars, not one! And the maître d', Franco, was an excellent and exquisite host. Not 5 stars, but at least 8 stars! Highly recommended.

A must-try experience if you're in the area. The menu changes based on the catch of the day and maintains a local flavor. Highly recommended.

We took a short Uber road trip from the lively streets of Tropea to Ristorante L’Approdo in Vibo Valentia—and it was absolutely worth every kilometre. What a hidden gem! Arriving early for our booking (table of 3), we were greeted by a serene and refined setting—a refreshing contrast to the hustle and mayhem of Tropea’s crowds. The restaurant filled up quickly, but the calm atmosphere and attentive service never faltered. The food? Every course lived up to the Michelin recognition. From beautifully balanced entrees to standout mains, each dish was a celebration of local Calabrian ingredients with a sophisticated touch. The seafood was particularly exceptional—fresh, delicate, and expertly prepared. We couldn’t resist trying the desserts, and they didn’t disappoint—elegant, light, and full of flavor. L’Approdo delivers not just a meal, but a truly memorable dining experience. Whether you’re staying in Tropea or exploring Calabria, this restaurant is well worth the detour. Highly recommended.

Elegant restaurant, courteous and attentive staff. Excellent food quality, top service. The only downside is the off-menu options; the fried calamari is fine, but €25 for spaghetti with tomato sauce seems a bit excessive. Recommended!

Ottima cucina che parla di pesce nella sua migliore espressione. Il servizio è elegante e discreto, il locale è curato ed i dettagli sono degni di attenzione. Il conto è commisurato all' experience. È sicuramente un ristorante che piace.

Ho scelto questa location per festeggiare il compleanno di mio marito e siamo rimasti colpiti per le ottime pietanze, ma non solo. Il direttore Francesco è stato Super perché ha soddisfatto ogni mia richiesta per l'occasione con molta premura e riservatezza. Tutto il personale è stato professionale e scrupoloso, anche i miei bambini lo hanno adorato. Abbiamo scelto la "sinfonia marina" per degustare le prelibatezze del posto con ottimo pesce fresco mentre i bambini hanno ordinato alla carta spaghetti alle vongole (volevano anche il bis!🤭) e frittura di calamari. Mi sono affidata al loro pasticcere per la torta e ho fatto benissimo...che dire...un'esperienza da riprovare e consigliare!
