Super cozy cafe. Delicious filled croissants. But the best part were the friendly cafe owners. A shop with soul. Highly recommended.

Il locale si trova nella piazzetta del centro storico e credo sia l'unico bar del paese Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo prima di pranzo; due calici di ottimo vino rosso (e ci mancherebbe siamo in Toscana!) un piccolo tagliere con crostini, patatine etc il sole in faccia, il cielo azzurro, la piazzetta con la gente che chiacchera ... cosa voler di più ?

Siamo stati due volte al bar l'Appalto per il pranzo. L'ambiente è gradevole come pure il servizio. Abbiamo mangiato bene ogni volta.

The real Valdorcia's experience. You Need to go to this place, food and drinks are Amazing (You MUST-GET One of the wines from the area😍) and also the team is Amazing, I love that!! They also do reeeally good cocktails 😍💘11/5

An obligatory stop, informal and unpretentious but a very calm environment and kind service. In terms of value for money it will get you in but it won't be the only thing that will make you come back.

We stopped at this establishment to quench our thirst and have a little meal. It was very nice and we enjoyed this Italian atmosphere. The staff is very cheerful and helpful. Definitely worth stopping by. Not too many photos out of respect for the many people present

03/02/2025: Tonight with friends. Ate excellent fish. I recommend it.
04/01/2025: Spectacular Sunday lunch trip out of town. Well done and congratulations to chef Cristian and family. We ate everything based on raw and cooked fish, sensational Stellar cuisine with modest prices, Perfect. We will return to try the meat. Well done and keep going 👍 Update, the restaurant has changed management since July 2024 and so I can't tell you how the food is now. It's a shame that the old Familiare Civale management has closed. 😪

04/11/2024: A very pleasant lunch with a beautiful view. It was all perfect. we did the tasting menu. Well done. the knowledge of the chef at the end of the meal was very welcome.
12/09/2024: We got this place recommended by our local Italian restaurant Vecchio Convento in Odder Denmark. The place is stunningly beautiful situated on a hilltop and the food is worth the drive. It is absolutely the best meal we had on our holiday in Italy, better than the Michelin restaurant we also visited. Can definitely be recommended.
