01/09/2024: The first 5 stars is never forgotten, because it is deserved. I have passed by Maramais many times in the last few months, both for breakfast, lunch and an aperitif and I can say that you can't find anything better around. In addition to a selection of pastry brioches in the morning, there is a good home-cooked menu for lunch (as well as sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps made on the spot) and a very rich aperitif (see photo, there were only 3 of us and after they brought more). All at very honest prices, especially for Italians (€5 for a first course, a piada, €8 for an aperitif). But the best thing about Maramais are the people who work there and manage it: always courteous without being intrusive, available and always ready to satisfy even requests other than the menu. They run everything in the family and after a while they make you feel like part of the family too. Congratulations indeed, if I had my own bar I couldn't manage it better!
