L'Antico Trippaio In Firenze

20/08/2026: We went there two nights in a row during our three days in Florence. And I think that says it all. We fell in love with Torcicoda: the place, the atmosphere, the cuisine, but above all the staff, so kind, courteous, and capable of winning you over, making you feel right at home. The first evening, after a thorough introduction from the maître d', we chose to enjoy a delicious Chianina Florentine steak, accompanied by the authentic flavor of an excellent Rosso di Montalcino. The feeling that immediately gripped us—that we had come to the right place—hasn't left us. So, the next evening, we opted for dinner, choosing from their refined menu. Needless to say, it was all accompanied by an excellent Campinovi Bianco! Last but not least... literally, both evenings we chose to conclude our special experience with their delicious desserts. Congratulations to the entire team: you managed to transform two simple dinners into one of the most beautiful memories of our stay in Florence. We already know where one of our regular stops will be upon our return to the city.

12/08/2026: We had a reservation for the pizzeria this evening, but it was closed without us being informed. So we ate in the "gastronomic" section of the restaurant, which was very good, but we still suspect that it was deliberate not to warn us that the pizzeria was closed, as several other customers found themselves in the same situation.
