Yesterday, we had an amazing meal at l’Antico Granaio. I had seared tuna with pistachios, and my wife had seared tuna with pickled red onions. Both tuna dishes were perfectly prepared, but the sweet and sour pickled red onions were exceptional – such a perfect balance! For dessert, we had the pistachio tiramisu, which at first seemed like a disappointment because it wasn’t fresh. However, after the first bite, it became clear – it was a flavor explosion you simply can’t achieve with fresh tiramisu. Only two days left here in Castellammare del Golfo, but we’ll be back!

They were phenomenal in making a running change when eating outside and the weather changed I am Sicilian and the food was excellent and the portions were too! I’m a big big foodie and I loved it

The food was exceptional. From the starter to the desert, along with the wine (Maleka grillo), everything was perfect. On top of it all, the service was great, they are very friendly and always smiling. I recommend this place 100%!!!

Ho cenato in questo ristorante con amici ad agosto 2024. Il locale è sulla via pedonale nel centro di Castellammare. Menù interessante con piatti della tradizione siciliana, principalmente di pesce. Abbiamo provato degli antipasti misti di mare e verdure, tutti molto buoni e ben cucinati, con sapori bilanciati, ma decisi. A seguire le busiate alla norma, veramente molto buone. Servizio ottimo e cordiale. Non siamo riusciti a provare i dolci che a detta della proprietaria sono il fiore all’occhiello dello chef. Un buon motivo per ritornare. Prezzi giusti per qualità e quantità. Bravi!

04/01/2025: A journey through time... perfect for a Montalbano film. A ground floor without any sign... in a place "frozen" in the 60s... a delicious pastry shop with forgotten desserts like "la patata" and historic desserts, staples and cannoli, places like this no longer exist. Hurry if you are also looking for the atmosphere and the place. The lady and her husband are two lovely people who make you feel at home. Thank you.
