L'Antica Trattoria In Como

The service and the location are all very good. However, the portions are very small and the prices are excessive. Two people, shared starter (very small), one main course each (small), and a shared dessert and a glass of wine each.

The food is so yumm!! The food is delicious: burrata, meat, and truffle pasta 🌟 The wait for the meat was a little long, but it was worth it. The prices are high.

We were lucky to get a reservation at this wonderful restaurant during our stay in Como. I found it by searching Google for gluten free options. The staff assured me nearly any dish could be prepared gluten free. They also had lactose free options for most dishes! The reviews online were raving about both the pasta and meat dishes. There was also a tasting menu available! We opted for a filet dish with foie gras and a pasta dish with truffle. Looking around the restaurant, there were shelves full of grappa and other liquors. I suspect they could’ve made any cocktail. We don’t know because we opted for a lovely wine from the extensive list. We were soon served a section of fresh bread that included a small round loaf of the best gluten free bread for me! It was beautiful, steaming and delicious. We could see the chef starting to prep meats for the open fire indoor grill, which was such a cool feature! Soon we were greeted with our pasta with truffle, but then offered additional freshly grated truffle!! Generous freshly grated truffle and perfectly cooked pasta…delicious. Then our filets arrived and we were offered more freshly grated truffle and a selection of seasoning salts. The meal was perfection. We knew it was something special and we understood why the restaurant had received Michelin recognition. We couldn’t have asked for better service or a better meal. As someone with multiple food allergies, it was a treat to feel like I could have the same meal as my companions and not be a burden or an inconvenience to the staff. However, my companions agreed it was a special meal experience and they were grateful for the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. Highly recommended for all. So glad we found this place!! It did fill up quickly. Reservations are recommended and can be made online!

It is one the best restaurants in Como! The food is incredible! Pasta with truffles, steak, tiramisu… everything was of the highest standard! The service is excellent! The atmosphere is authentic and real! Not a touristic place but a restaurant for real guormans. I will be back here again and again every time in Como

We had lunch at L'Antica and had a truly positive experience. The only slightly inconvenient aspect was parking, which is difficult to find in the city center. The restaurant's entrance immediately strikes you with its numerous Michelin awards and accolades from past years, which convey a sense of professionalism and tradition. The interior is very refined and welcoming, and despite the young waiters, we found them knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. We started with braised beef cheek, an extraordinary dish, rich and full of flavor. The ceviche, fresh and well-balanced, brought all the typical flavors of South America to the table. For main courses, we chose the beef tartare, tasty and well-crafted, and a red shrimp risotto with passion fruit: the fresh fruit provided just the right amount of acidity, making the dish original and well-balanced. A restaurant that combines quality, creativity, and attentive service. Recommended for a special lunch in Como.

Se cercate un'esperienza culinaria incentrata sulla carne alla brace di altissima qualità, questo ristorante è una vera gemma. I prodotti sono eccezionali, si sente la cura nella selezione degli ingredienti. Ma ciò che rende l'esperienza davvero speciale è la gentilezza e la competenza del gestore, sempre pronto a consigliare e a raccontare i piatti con passione. Un posto dove la passione per la buona carne si unisce a un'accoglienza calorosa.

Cibo eccellente. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Sono specializzati in piatti di carne ma sono ottimi anche quelli di pesce. Il prezzo è in linea con la qualità del cibo. Il servizio cordiale e attento. Adatto anche per celiaci (sono certificati AIC), e lo staff ha dimostrato premura e cura a riguardo. Se dovessimo tornare a Como sarà sicuramente una tappa culinaria fissa!
