We stopped here for a glass of wine and arancini. Buzzy location, friendly hosts, we were very happy !

The arancini were delicious, but not the other, onion dough. I expected more.

Everything is good but the Pane Cunzato is spectacular!

Avoid. Shocking prices for what it is - two sandwiches should have been 10-12 euros, but were almost 30 with a water. Two slices of ham and one of cheese all thin, barely scraps, on not particular fresh bread. Honestly there’s lots of spots so no need to go here. Owner was down braiding his south Asian employee. I got a really really bad feeling in my gut and got the food to go and left. Menacing energy.

We were asked to seat by a very nice manager, who spoke fluently in English, we wanted to try cannoli but he said that they don’t sell it. We bought a coffee which was delicious and some drinks, after some time the manager came and said he is preparing ricotta for us if we still want the canolli, it was delicious ! We appreciate he did it even though he didn’t have to. Next day, we came back and again we were very pleased with service. I really recommend this place

We stopped by because the place has a welcoming dinner mentioned that we’d like to try a variety of dishes, which we certainly did. The food was delicious (The eggplant with cheese was absolutely divine!), but I was a bit surprised by the final bill. Since we ordered based on recommendations rather than directly from the menu, we weren’t aware of the prices. In hindsight, this should have been communicated more clearly. Additionally, when we received a small dessert plate that we hadn’t ordered, I assumed it was a complimentary gesture. However, I later noticed it was included in the bill. Overall, it’s a lively place with great food, and we would have left with even bigger smiles if we hadn’t been charged for something we didn’t order and that seemed to be a kind gesture.

We wanted to eat off the tourists' main track and we got very lucky. If you're after a quick, cheap, soul-less meal (think golden arches type crap or the something that tastes like what you get at 'home' and anything but Sicilian) then this is not the place for you. These guys are passionate about the food and drink they serve you. Ask for their advice or choose from the ample display of foods and enjoy. We had two rolls, which were very generous, and two glasses of excellent local wine and it cost us €34. This may seem a little high but it was worth every cent, plus the guys were friendly and entertaining. Skip the whining and whinging reviews you might see in the other reviews here as some people simply cannot be pleased nor should they travel outside of the local village.

Fantastic aperitivo. Very authentic host, ask him for his recommendation. I'll definitely come back here.
