I'm in love with Imperia. Like every year, almost like a ritual, I have to go to Lanterna Blu to relive the same experience that has been with me since I was a child. La Lanterna Blu isn't just a restaurant; it's the symbol of this beautiful province. It's a magical place characterized by an elegant, distinguished, clean, and comfortable setting. Max makes you feel right at home, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. But let's move on to the dishes. What can I say? They're in keeping with the location and could sum it all up in one word: "Quality." The catch of the day I ate was sublime; the ingredients were fresh and served with care and elegance, the attention to the customer and their needs was attentive, and the wine list was vast. All these qualities should be taken for granted, but unfortunately, these days they're not easy to find in the restaurant world. In short, maybe it's just me who has a soft spot for this place, but it's definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area. See you soon, Max.

For my birthday dinner, the welcome was fantastic, the food excellent, the service impeccable and refined, the wines were also excellent and included in the menu price, and the setting was magnificent – ​​everything contributed to making it a truly magical evening! In March we were at the regatta in Imperia and this restaurant immediately caught our attention with its appearance. Considering that it was still morning, we were pleasantly surprised that the head chef and owner gave us a private tour without any expectations. We were delighted with the story and tradition of the restaurant, and decided to try some delicacies. The next day when we arrived, we were no less surprised by the food, which was at least as delicious.

Iniziamo dal locale: storico, ben arredato, con un'atmosfera d'altri tempi ma piacevole, accogliente e soprattutto rilassante. I piatti serviti realizzati con i migliori ingredienti disponibili sul mercato e cucinati con passione. Solitamente la bontà delle singole pietanze passa dall'ottimo al sublime (100.008 come dice mia figlia…). Il menù si concorda con lo chef e non si rimane mai delusi, anzi… Domenica un plauso speciale al tonno marinato e al risotto con aragosta (vedere foto) entrambi 100.008. Il segreto dei piatti è la semplicità, la qualità della materia prima che regala profumi di una volta. Laterna Blu es mi restaurante favorito en Imperia! Mi familia y yo hemos estado yendo allí durante años, y nunca hemos sido decepcionados. La comida siempre es deliciosa, hecha con ingredientes frescos, la pasta de langosta es mi favorita. El propietario, Massimo, siempre sugiere el vino perfecto para combinar con su comida. El ambiente es cálido y acogedor, con un excelente servicio que hace de cada visita un placer. Lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial es el hermoso arte expuesto en el restaurante, con nuevas pinturas siempre en exhibición. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!
