L'Angolo Tondo...It's a beautiful restaurant in our area, located in the splendid Piazza dell'Anfiteatro in Lucca. The restaurant is very welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail. The staff is friendly, courteous, professional, and highly qualified. It offers gourmet cuisine with special dishes, enhanced with selected local products of the highest quality. Well done...

Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the desserts. The flavors were very subtle, and each ingredient paired beautifully with the dish. The waiters were very courteous, and the service was quite fast. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming.

From the quality of the food to the friendliness of the staff, this is a place you'll want to return to time and time again. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny!

A highly positive experience, from start to finish. The food was exquisite, with a skillful balance of innovation and tradition. High-level service provided by extremely friendly staff. This isn't our first time in Lucca, but we have to say that among the many high-end culinary offerings the city has to offer, this is undoubtedly the best. Bravo!

I'm writing this review after having dinner here last night, for a bachelorette party. Nice place, special gyoza, fried mushrooms... the breading was too thick and almost completely covered the mushroom flavor. The apple tart was very good. We paid, and the total of €590 for 10 people was split between us because the bride-to-be was our responsibility. We asked for a slight discount, but the guy replied, "The owner isn't here, so I can't do that." Okay, so we split the amount, and it came out to €65.50 each. So we asked him to calculate the difference to €65... negative... he can't do that... we're talking about €5 out of €590. Let's see him do his math, and then tell us that €5 will spend €66 and €4 will spend €65, so he doesn't have to add 50 cents to everyone. We're not here to discuss a single euro more or less, but the attitude and manner were unpleasant. I think we should treat the public differently, and I also think it's not worth upsetting 10 people for 5 euros. Let's be clear...they certainly won't change your life...but they can make a difference in terms of kindness towards the customer...that's how I see it. I would have returned with my family, but I don't think I will, on principle, just like everyone else... Compliments to the chef for the Gyoza. Elisa

To be honest, we trusted the reviews, and either we didn't order the right thing, or the kitchen wasn't having a good day. The risotto was overly spicy, and the gyoza were rather bland. On the other hand, I find the price a bit excessive for what you get; I suppose it's the location, but it's still just another plaza. The best thing was the service, which was excellent. By the way, on a day like today, the umbrella heaters would have been very welcome.

For what we ordred we enjoyed tonight definitely five stars!! Service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. The young man was very inviting he checked our reservation but was ready to seat us even if we didnt :) While getting settled at the table he brought some mineral water and discussed his recommendations on rhe menu. We decided to get the chefs experience it was 5 course all of which played with your pallet of of course in a good way. Its best if you check out my pictures to get about better idea!! The Chef came out on the third course, plating to the tee and poured the fish broth over the Cod yummy!!! The Proseco was delicious and the Peroni on tap was cold. This was definitely a take your time experience so if your looking to hit and run then order from the main Dishes. Overall warm environment, excellent service and wonderful food!! Couldn't have asked for a better 1st meal for our first day in Italy!!!

The food is divine in a timeless setting. Kudos to the staff, who always describe the dishes with grace and emotion; their passion is evident. If you're in Lucca, enjoy this experience, and tell me more. 😉

Este restaurante está situado en la Piazza dell Anfitreato, que es una excelente ubicación. La comida y el servicio eran realmente excelentes; una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos en nuestras vacaciones. IT es un poco más caro que algunos de sus competidores, pero definitivamente vale la pena el extra.

Todo perfecto y bien servido. Terraza muy agradable y el servicio muy atento. Tagliata con guarnición muy original con purés variados.
