Staff very attentive, pleasant and friendly. The appetizers were delicious, fresh and traditional. I suggest the risotto, pork and peppers and fried anchovies, dessert’s were very delicious. From the start of phone reservation service to the end of our meal we were treated very good and I highly recommend. Great service , very tasty food and ambience. I will definitely dine here again when I visit Luca in the future. The staff treats tourist as equal as the locals who are dining in.

Just absolutely excellent from start to finish. This is a front of house team with high-end aspirations, serving exceptional food at every course. We were welcomed warmly and seated in the beautiful piazza as a band played in the centre. After drinking our welcome drinks we chose a wine and a couple of appetisers and mains from their focused but appealing menu. And then the food came. Canestrino tomato stuffed with pesto and burrata and liberally doused in watermelon gazpatcho was a highlight, but that's to cast no shade whatsoever on the beef tartare that was absolutely packed with flavour. For mains I enjoyed a wonderful ravioli stuffed with needlefish and swimming in a rich, fishy broth, while my husband's roast pork dish was just fantastic. We shared a superb dessert - a shortcrust pastry, verbena and cream concoction that was deeply impressive. I can't recommend L'Angolo Tondo highly enough. A really special evening.

Fantastic, creative food in a great ristorante right on the piazza. Very friendly and attentive service. We spent a wonderful evening there.

We were able to get a table at a beautiful, touristy location. Reservations are recommended. We had a delicious meal, a bit 'out of the box'. The waitress 'Dory' may have had the memory of a goldfish, she said herself, but we still got a cappuccino in the evening. 'Not done' in Italy, but made with love!♡

This is where you go for a modern meal in Lucca. L'Angolo Tondo is not typical tourist menu or traditional Tuscan meal. The food is a delicious fusion of Italian food with French and Asian influences. Menu changes with the availability of fresh local products. I have been there three times. Service is Excellent-friendly and professional. English and Italian-speaking staff. Located in the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, a great place to eat on a nice evening and the Piazza is not too busy. Food was the best we had, after we were tired of the similar menu in most restaurants here. We have been here three months and have covered a lot of restaurants. Lucca is a great place to visit and eat!
