High quality but also high costs.

The l'Anglo Blu offers a good selection of fish dishes in one of Gallipoli's small old town streets. The service is good, even if we didn't like all of the waiter's recommendations. If you want to eat fish, a selection is brought to your seat and you can choose what you want to eat. The food is good, although not outstanding. Overall, we found the price-performance ratio unbalanced.

I discovered this place in 2012 when I lived in Lecce. As of day 1 Fabio impressed me with his cuisine and his kindness. I still see him jumping on the scooter to get a box of fresh purple shrimp from the harbour fish mongers. Today the quality is still there. Food was delicious. As a positive criticism: I would like to ask the waiters to be less "in your face" with their proposals. Give us time to sit down, look around and enjoy the place and have a first glance at the menu. If then we need to know the day specials or what the catch of the day was, we will ask. Now we felt somewhat rushed and pushed towards some choices, and we were not alone in that observation. In the end I got what I wanted to eat, not what the waiter tried to "sell". I definitely recommend the place. Keep up the good cuisine Fabio.

Years pass but the quality not only remains but continues to rise

Very good fish restaurant. We had the gnocco as a first course then a whole fish to share as a second course. The fresh fish of the day, from the catch, are brought directly by the waiter to your table to attest to the remaining choice and their freshness. I recommend this restaurant!

Food was very tasty. We ordered risotto con crema di scampi and it was delicious. We ordered a primitive rose wine. Very cool atmosphere and in the city center. I recommend

Best lobster pasta of my life (or close too !!!!). Highly recommended !
