A Seafood Gem in Florence
We had a fantastic dinner at L’Angelo Del Mar during our trip to Florence. The space is modern, crisp, and elegant, with a soothing palette of whites and blues that perfectly complements the upscale yet relaxed atmosphere.
Service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. We started with tuna tartare and a shrimp and white bean appetizer—both fresh and delicious. The pastas were a highlight: lobster tagliatelle, spaghetti with clams, and a mussel pasta—each one better than the last.
For the main course, we shared a salt-baked bronzino and a roasted red snapper, served with grilled vegetables. Beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. We paired everything with a refreshing Vermentino recommended by our server.

Il locale è carino ma troppo piccolo e quando si riempie riesce difficile parlare. La materia prima utilizzata è di qualità ma andrebbe utilizzata a dovere. Il carpaccio di branzino era senza un minimo di condimento e riscaldato al microonde tanto che si era attaccato al fondo del piatto, le crocchette di patate (i gamberi erano del tutto assenti) insapori, il pesce al forno troppo cotto e le patate che ne costituivano il contorno secche e salate.
I tre pallini sono per il servizio, cortese e professionale e la materia prima utilizzata, o meglio, sprecata non per i piatti serviti.
I prezzi sono troppo elevati per quanto abbiamo mangiato.
La carta dei vini e’ ampia ma i ricarichi sono eccessivi.

When it comes to food I get prosaic. I don't like poetry. So I get to the highlights. The glass of white wine. I can't stand glasses which are, excuse the term, constipated and can't hold the entire dinner. The glass of this restaurant is welcoming but cold. Optimal. Spaghetti with seafood, also excellent and plentiful. Fried, one in two because I don't want to gain weight. Both the initial gift (pappa col tomato with octopus) and the final gift (a small taste of strudel and 80% chocolate) are pleasant.

Restaurant in a secluded position, very well-kept bar counter at the entrance and small internal room with a maximum of 25-30 seats. Cozy and relaxing atmosphere but not excessively formal, well isolated from the outside, which allows you to enjoy lunch in peace. Service perfectly synchronized on time. Very fresh fish and shellfish, as I was able to taste with raw seafood as a starter, and boiled scampi with an exquisite mayonnaise as a main course. Balanced portions. Very rich and varied wine list, even in prices. Bill absolutely proportionate to the quality of the food and service of the place. Excellent experience.

The sea corner was a nice surprise! Elegant environment, with attention to detail. Fresh fish, cooked and presented very well. Professionalism in service. For those looking for an elegant and refined environment this is the right place. We will definitely be back...
