Review for Trattoria Il Cantastorie – An evening of good food and smiles We were welcomed with the smile and friendliness of the owner, playful but never intrusive, capable of immediately putting guests at ease. A few jokes, a few laughs and the start of dinner was already pleasant! The restaurant is simple but refined, exactly what you expect from a good trattoria: a welcoming environment where the protagonist is the food. And nothing to say about the food: good, adequate portions and fast, friendly service. The quality-price ratio is absolutely right, especially considering the promotions applied, which make the experience even more interesting. The only small note for foodies: we would have liked to find a great classic like tiramisu on the menu, but we are sure that on our next visit we will be able to taste it (let's take this as an excellent excuse to return!). Recommended for a simple and pleasant evening, with good food and a welcome that makes the difference. 😊

(lunch wasn't planned there it was an impromptu) .. to return maybe even during the week with more peace of mind ..

We discovered this restaurant almost by chance, and we couldn't have made a better choice! The atmosphere is that of the real trattorias of the past: welcoming, warm and familiar. The owner is a very nice person, always ready to have a chat and recommend the best dishes of the day with a contagious passion. The food? Simply fantastic. Genuine flavours, fresh ingredients and generous portions. From the homemade pasta to the very tender meat main courses, everything was cooked with love and tradition. The house wine accompanied the dinner perfectly, and to finish, a homemade dessert that tasted like childhood memories. Honest prices, impeccable service and a welcome that makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a place to eat well and truly feel like guests, this restaurant is a must. We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent food from the Milanese translation and beyond. Abundant and quality dishes. Very friendly restaurateur and very professional at the table

È stata una bella scoperta, non sapevo che si mangiasse così bene. La sala è accogliente, il servizio veloce, la cucina è semplice come si "cucina a casa". Sono rimasta stupefatta per la proposta del menù a €18 a persona (anche a cena) che include un primo a scelta, un secondo e contorno. Abbiamo provato per primi: Gnocchetti fatti in casa alla Amatriciana e risotto alla milanese. Le porzioni sono generose. Ho apprezzato tanto i Gnocchetti. I secondi: filetto Branzino alla mediterranea e tagliata di manzo con porcini. Con contorno di pomodori e cipolla rossa e purè. Tutto ottimo. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.
