We were invited by some friends and had a really good meal. We'll definitely be back.

The meat is truly delicious and beautifully cooked. Experience, quality, and professionalism are evident. I'll definitely be back to try the first courses and, when in season, the mushrooms and truffles for which it's famous. What impressed me most, besides the quality, is the expert cooking of each dish.

As for the palate, there's nothing to complain about: the traditional cuisine is authentic, flavorful, and served surprisingly quickly. If you're hungry and short on time, you'll be satisfied in minutes with dishes that truly respect tradition. However, you need to be prepared for the visual impact. The location is decidedly dated: the furnishings, lighting, and overall atmosphere give the impression of a place stuck in the past a few decades. A makeover wouldn't hurt, as the ambiance doesn't do justice to the quality of the food served. The real shock, however, comes with the bill. The price is decidedly high, perhaps too high considering that, in addition to the food, you're certainly not paying for a modern or sophisticated setting.

I've been eating here every now and then for many years, sometimes just passing through, but also coming specifically from the sea because I was immensely impressed by the overall quality. Now, however, I must, alas, acknowledge a slow and gradual decline... I'm sorry, because it's been a long time, making me rediscover the forgotten flavors of my childhood. Rightly so, it's never been cheap, but I always left happy! That's not happening anymore lately!

A place that seemed like any other, but I quickly changed my mind. Five stars isn't enough. What can I say? A total of 10 out of 10. We'll be back in large numbers.

We visited this mountain restaurant in Carsoli (Abruzzo) on May 22, 2025, near the highway exit. The atmosphere is charming and refined, with an open fireplace. Some dishes, such as meat and mushrooms, are grilled over the grill. The dishes are carefully prepared and of high quality, and the wine cellar is noteworthy. It's a shame that the prices, even considering what we ordered and the quantities served, were quite high, as per the receipt.
