Pleasant discovery, we happened to be in Carsoli and decided to stop at this restaurant. I am celiac and I found excellent bread and excellent gluten-free pasta. We had excellent quality cold cuts as an appetizer, 2 first courses with ragù with 3 types of meat, my husband grilled sausage with a side dish of cardoncelli mushrooms and cabbage and potatoes. All very good. Elegant place. Very friendly owner and staff. We will return. BRAVI

Old fashion restaurant in the most positive meaning: slow food, intimate location, friendly and prepared staff and most importantly the food: just incredible! I ordered porcini mushroom pasta and lamb and it was incredible!

Maybe I went there at the wrong time. The white truffles were not available. The black truffles were the most unpalatable I have ever tasted in Italy. Not only did they have no fragrance, but they also had a damp taste. There was sand in them. The only thing that failed was the service. After we said that the black truffles were sandy, the waiter gave us a plate of roasted porcini mushrooms. Unfortunately, there was also sand in them.

Location decisamente appagante, cibo all' altezza del posto ma prezzi decisamente troppo alti. Pagare una bruschetta, 2 fettine di pane, con cremina di funghi e tartufo, ben 14€ mi pare esagerato, specifico che erano cremine e non tartufo vero! Hanno poi un menù di tartufo, inavvicinabile, dove un uovo al tegamino con tartufo costa solamente 50€. Vino, Montepulciano, servito in calice, non oso conoscere il prezzo...coperto 3,50€. Un porcino alla brace solo 32€, un agnello 27€.
Insomma, locale bello, di effetto sicuramente, ma anche il conto non è da meno.
