I chose Barberino del Mugello instinctively on my way back to Verona. Surrounded by greenery like much of beautiful Tuscany, this restaurant, housed in a historic building, is very welcoming, with carefully crafted rustic furnishings. The atmosphere is homey. I recommend booking because there are only a few tables. Highly recommended. Their menu features a bit of everything from Tuscan cuisine, everything is exceptional, from appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even desserts. The Tuscan appetizer and crostini are delicious. The first course with wild boar is very good, as is the crostini with salmon, melted brie, and eggplant. The profiteroles are delicious, and you can tell they're made fresh. Everything is noteworthy, congratulations. They are welcoming and very kind. The best hamburger ever! With a bonus: truffles. Excellent address! An impromptu stop on our route led us to a charming little restaurant, far from the main roads. A warm welcome and tasty cuisine. It certainly has its regulars, so make a gourmet stop here without hesitation.
