Good food. There's no workers' menu. A first course costs around €13, a second course plus side dish around €15. I had the suckling pig with caponata: very good.

We stumbled upon it by chance for a weekend with friends. It's an oasis in the small village of Robbio. The cuisine is simple and top-quality, and the bar is well-stocked. Friendly staff. If you're on the go, it's highly recommended for a quick aperitif/dinner break.

12/05/2026: The place is clean and tidy, if a bit spartan: plywood tables and chairs, paper tablecloths and napkins (but the staff is always dressed in uniform). Excellent food (homemade pasta, ragù, and baked scallops prepared daily). Excellent value, too.

05/07/2026: This restaurant saved our friend trip, we were stuck without our car and the owner was so helpful and understanding even let us stay all the time we needed, charged our phones and use the bathroom. Rarely to see such kind of kindness in todays world, mark my work if you come to pavia go to this restaurant! The food was also very tasty. Eat the pizza romana and put oregano. We will never forget!!! Thankyouu🫡
22/06/2026: While waiting for the right train at the Pavia station, which is just a few meters from the restaurant, I stopped in just before closing time. The staff were very friendly, and the set lunch menu (€13) was excellent.
