Small restaurant in Livorno, where you can find a typical Livorno menu that is simple but satisfies the palate. The environment is typical of a popular restaurant, which isn't a bad thing for me. Generous portions and well served. The only flaw is the salt, which perhaps should be dosed better. But overall a good place to eat alone or in company. Prices and restaurant atmosphere, good value for money and food.

We ate very well on New Year's Eve (which is not to be taken for granted for an evening like this). The staff is courteous and professional and they were also very kind because they managed to find us a table at the last moment. Highly recommended.

Ci siamo fermati per pranzo in questa trattoria con il desiderio di mangiare del buon pesce. Abbiamo preso una pasta alle vongole e un cacciucco. Tutto buonissimo e abbondante. Consiglio il Ponce a fine pasto che raddrizza la giornata. Proprietario e personale gentilissimi e disponibili.

Il personale è gentile e l’atmosfera è piacevole. Come portate abbiamo preso l’antipasto della casa, non possiamo dire che fosse cattivo, solo che non era qualcosa che avrei ripreso successivamente. Alcune pietanze erano buone, mentre altre un po’ prive di sapore (ad esempio il baccalà era molto duro, difficile da masticare). Successivamente come seconda portata abbiamo ordinato un primo, molto buono e il fritto misto. Il fritto, come la pasta, era buono, l’unica pecca è stata che nel menù c’era scritto che ci sarebbero state anche le verdure, ma c’era solamente 1 carota ed 1 patata. Per concludere abbiamo preso un dolce fatto da loro che era buono.

02/12/2024: Normalmente vengo a Elba por negocios, pero cada vez que es necesario ir allí Michele & Giuseppe restaurante. Aquí puedes oler el alma de Elba
18/11/2024: Era una vera esperienza elbana: atmosphera accogliente con Michele in servizio e Pino e Laura in Cucina . Dal favoloso cuor di baccala sul letto di formaggio ai pici cacio e Pepe con bottarga fino ai gamberi al Brandy … non dire niente dei vini straordinari che il Sommelier Michele conosce tutti da esperienza personale… era una serata memorabile, torneremo volontieri! Grazie!

01/02/2025: I've been going here for lunch for years now and often for dinner on Saturdays too. It feels like home for the environment and the food, very good with nothing oily, fat or condiments. The staff always meets your needs and is always kind and smiling like the owner Michela. The pizza is also very good. EXCELLENT price quality. I highly recommend it.
31/01/2025: I went to Il Paradosso for lunch today and was undecided on which pizza to order, today I opted for the Salmon & Burrata Pizza. The Pizza was already very inviting from the look, because the eye also wants its part as well as the taste, really very good pizza, well cooked and it was also well stuffed and with quality ingredients. I will definitely return to try the other pizzas. The staff were also very helpful.
