Wonderful evening. The family-run restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and, although not very large, is very welcoming. The food is excellent, with generous portions and top-quality ingredients carefully crafted. The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The result: a very satisfying dinner. Fairly priced. Highly recommended!

We were in Palermo for the first time, and this was our first establishment, so the impression was very good, the pizza and pasta were very tasty, the wine we were served was very tasty and elegant, the only thing we really didn't like was the breaded meat which was not tasty at all, and the breading itself was completely soggy and really ruined our appetite for the evening.

A lovely dinner at L’Anciova, a small, charming neighborhood restaurant right near Porto Carini, the entrance to the Capo Market.
We started with caponata and sardine meatballs, followed swordfish along with a crisp catarratto.
Our food was very good but the pizzas being served all around us looked outstanding!

We went this week as a group of five for dinner and loved it. The service was very friendly, and all the dishes we ordered, all different, were delicious. The day I return to Palermo, I'll definitely go back! I recommend it!
