Lamare Restaurant In Polignano a mare

Dopo la grande riuscita del capodanno, siamo ritornati per una cena di famiglia… location eccezionale: in pieno centro, con vista ponte lama monachile, un’atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante, soprattutto in giardino… personale qualificato e cortese, portate (in entrambi i casi abbiamo optato per menù di pesce) di altissimo livello, sia per le preparazioni (mai banali), che per la qualità delle materie prime (p.e. pane proveniente da uno dei migliori panifici della zona) e poi una cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo: zero aglio… tutto buono e digeribile… buona la carta dei vini e conto davvero onesto… Ormai Lamare è una garanzia, bravi 👏

Good restaurant and good food…. The place enjoys a splendid view of Lama Monachile

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte presso questa struttura che non è un hotel, bensì è un ristorante che offre 6 splendide dimore tutte con balcone vista lama monachile, pulizia ottima, arredate con gusto, ogni confort, personale accogliente e sempre disponibile. Super consigliato.

We had dinner as a couple at this very nice restaurant in Polignano. It enjoys a beautiful view and romantic atmosphere. We were greeted very kindly at first and were made to sit at a table which however had a problem: it was hit in two places by two large fans (totally useless since it was already a ventilated place and in the evening there was already a beautiful north wind ). We pointed out the inconvenience and they turned off only one of the two, a little annoyed. However the other one continued to bother us. After several requests, including changing the table to have a more sheltered one or even that of finishing the dinner with only appetizers, which they rejected, they then obviously opted to temporarily turn off the other fan as well (just enough time to bring us to the table the second course, obviously). After this unpleasant affair, we were treated poorly, hastily and made to feel uncomfortable with the other guests in the room. We are quite private people and we don't like to be observed and this was very very difficult for us. However, in fairness, it must be said that the food we ate was very good, the starter more than the first course, and the wine excellent. The bill is in line with Polignano prices, but not adequate for the service.

enchanting location, breathtaking view, highly qualified staff, excellent owner, high quality food. Even if in my humble opinion the prices are a little high. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
