L'Amalfitana In Bologna

At first glance the place doesn't seem like anything exceptional, but it turned out to be a real surprise. We only went in for a pizza since we noticed a wood-fired oven but we ended up getting a Livorno-style octopus, truly spectacular fried fish, a delight for the palate and finally a lemon delight. The entire staff is operational and competent. The person who served us is really good and knows his job very well, he was able to welcome and guide the customer with courtesy, efficiency and friendliness without ever going further.

The place is outside the center, so in a nice, typically Italian atmosphere. Pizza very good. I recommend visiting this place.

Great service, great food, great

Great autentic italian restaurant. Feels like waiter works here his whole life. Great pasta, antipasti and also good draft beer and wine ;)

After a long day of travel we came for dinner. The atmosphere is pleasantly familiar, the service relaxed and humorous. We really enjoyed what we tried. Thank you for the relaxing evening!

Coming here for me and my family is like staying at home, for the feeling of familiarity that this place gives us. The manager has a friendliness that puts you at ease. The dishes are the good ones, which you know from the first time you enter, without exaggerating in variety or extravagance. The pizzas are worth it, as are the fish first and second courses. I haven't tried the earth ones. The environment is 80s, and it gives me pleasure to know that it is still the same as when I entered it as a child, without concessions to new impromptu fashions.

excellent food, elderly but very experienced and accommodating restaurateurs and friendly family-type environment, we ate well with good value for money. The only flaw is that the location is completely old and shabby, it seems stuck in the 70s, it reminded me of when I went to a restaurant for lunch on Sundays as a child with my parents. the bathrooms are clean but very old with broken tiles. there are many furnishings in the room and those placed on the high shelves are full of dust but the level of cleanliness for the tables is satisfactory. It is certainly not adequate for modern and restrictive health and hygiene standards. It would need to be totally renovated and could compete well with the venues in the area.
