I visited this café as a tourist speaking NO Italian, (only Si, Grazi, and Por Favore) and was treated very kindly and welcomingly by the barista who helped me find the pastry I wanted and made me a beautiful cappuccino!

Bontempo "Il Ristorante"

15/08/2025: Everything was spectacular, from the food to the cleanliness. The staff was kind and courteous. Highly recommended.
08/08/2025: Since February, the creator of this restaurant, which began in the 1960s as a small trattoria for those who worked in the area and couldn't return home for lunch, has passed away. Now, his children and grandchildren continue this gastronomic journey, offering dishes invented by Cavaliere Nino Bontempo. Thank you for allowing us to relish the flavors Nino explained to us, perhaps even sitting down with us, as was the case on the day of my First Communion 58 years ago. Andrea Vanella
