L'ALCHIMIA Ristorante & Lounge Bar In Milano

A fixed menu dinner, either meat or fish, for Christmas dinner with over 40 friends. It was a somewhat complicated experience because bringing out dozens of different dishes to each table at once wasn't easy, I don't think, to maintain the right temperature and correct portions. There were a few issues with the wine and water, given the slow pace of replenishing the tables. Overall, the food was good, but obviously you can't judge a restaurant on a "fixe price" basis for such an occasion. I'm not sure I'd go back, but I'll wait a while to decide. A more than adequate experience, but not thrilling.

Arriving at the cocktail bar, we were warmly welcomed and tried the specialties: the Alchimia and La Mia Milano, which were very popular. The food served with the aperitif was excellent. We'll definitely return for the restaurant.

The elegant and intimate atmosphere exudes attention to detail, although some aspects—such as the service and the musty smell coming from the lower floor—could be improved. The cuisine features quality ingredients, but the portions and presentation don't always live up to the restaurant's ambitions. The seafood tasting menu, for example, is decent but lacks the personality one expects from a restaurant aiming to stand out. Service is a bit sloppy, timing isn't always coordinated, and the music is completely disconnected from the gastronomic context and the restaurant's desired tone. The intent is clear: to aspire to a high-end positioning. However, to truly achieve that level, greater coherence between cuisine, service, and atmosphere is needed. An experience with potential, but still needs to be refined to be truly memorable.

The staff were incredibly kind; they even offered us some appetizers to try and a delicious sweet tartlet. A total 10!

The best with perfect food, very good service and a characteristic atmosphere, highly recommended

Excellent food, very friendly staff, and a beautiful location. The bathrooms are splendid and spotlessly clean: a rare sight.
