Laguna Libre In Venezia

A very charming venue. The band was excellent and created a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The food was truly excellent, carefully crafted and presented in exquisite flavor.

We came here for a dinner accompanied by a live jazz band. We arrived right on time, yet the tables weren't reserved. In fact, even though we'd paid more than others, we had a table far from the band, so it was difficult to see. I actually didn't think this was fair to those who had reservations, especially for dinner, compared to people who were there just to watch the show (without eating). Obviously, the place was packed, so the service was really slow, but the dishes were delicious, all delicious, and quite generous, which justifies the prices, which aren't exactly cheap. Another thing I didn't quite understand was my "enhanced" two-course menu. I don't know what "enhanced" meant, but I didn't get anything more than the two dishes we'd agreed upon, and I didn't get to ask the waiters because, as I said, the service was a sore point. The place is really cute inside, with a warm, welcoming vibe and soft lighting. I really liked it. I recommend everyone come early, though. Perhaps that way you'll be more fortunate to get a seat and be served first, considering the venue is also quite small. As for the jazz show... what can I say, it was wonderful, worth it, despite the many things I would fix to make the evening more enjoyable for the guests. All in all, I would return, especially now that I know how to behave and what to expect, because the evening was still very enjoyable.

Loved the experience ! Perfect food, lots of veggie options (and no veggies too), very well made. Generous portions of all, including wine. Live music was very good. Congrats to the singer, her Brazilian Portuguese was very good !

With a canceled concert, we were able to enjoy a dinner with Smartbox at this wonderful restaurant. We were there on a Wednesday, so it was very quiet with jazz playing in the background. The place is clean and full of character. The food was truly delicious and the portions were generous. The staff were really friendly; we'll definitely be back!

This was 10 ft from our hotel and we need to get lunch after we checked in. Both staff at the hotel recommended this place. We got a table right outside looking the canal and it was beautiful sunny day with 65 deg F. Our server was a sweetest gentleman and was very welcoming. Our vegetarian dishes were out of this world, tomato pasta, lasagna, and roasted vegetables. Waiting for Tiramisu while writing this review. This

Very lovely unique menu with excellent seasonal options and everything was excellent

After a terrible meal the previous night, decided to eat here. Wow! Not a fan of jazz, but don’t let that put you off. Menu, food and wine was exceptional. This party of three agreed best meal in a long time. Host was attentive, ambience was jazz, but I won’t hold that against them! This chef is talented!

An atmosphere truly worthy of a top-notch jazz club and cuisine perfectly in keeping with the setting. Bravo. A benchmark in Venice.
