Lago Lo Specchio In Pistoia

Place visited for a ceremony and with an unusual temperature for the time of year; certainly in moments of greater heat and absence of rain it will be much more enjoyable. The restaurant has a very large room inside a glass veranda which allows a view of every surrounding promontory and the lake next to it. The food, refined but respectful of traditions, manages to be the protagonist: very generous and tasty portions, perfectly balanced between them. Side note: the 4 stars for the environment refer to the internal room which, thanks to the presence on Sundays, had a very high number of diners such as to prevent the understanding (sometimes) of the words exchanged at my table. All this is understandable, but certainly with more space between tables and an opening of the veranda (I presume with milder temperatures and towards summer) it can be mitigated. Despite this little thing, great praise for the service which has always been impeccable and capable of serving anyone without too many waits as well as recommending the correct quantity of courses. Very kind!

Excellent food at reasonable prices, friendly staff. Comfortable environment especially in summer where a few hours of relaxation in the cool is required, away from the chaos of the city.

I am madly in love with this restaurant... I would start by talking about the excellent, exquisite food, I really invite you to go, the very kind staff, attentive to every need and request of the guests... and the enchanting landscape with the lake in front and the woods around, a fairytale and relaxing place.

Siamo partito con antipasto coccole e prosciutto davvero buoni, proseguendo con dei primi eccellenti ma il top del top è stato la bistecca, davvero favolosa e tenerissima, l'abbiamo accompagnata con patate e funghi anche loro molto buoni. Infine i dolci che erano deliziosi!! Ristorante consigliatissimo anche per qualità prezzo. Inoltre un applauso al personale, velocissimo e molto simpatico!!!
