Lago Laux In Usseaux

Lunch for two, fast service despite the clientele; started with an appetizer of very good typical local cured meats and cheeses, the cold cuts melt in your mouth. As a first course, agnolotti with house ragù are excellent, while as a second course, coalvi fillet, cooked rare; light but tasty; very tender, grilled accompanied by salt and peppercorns with a side of carrots and potatoes which are also equally good. Recommended for a dinner as a couple or with friends, a very romantic location with a view of the lake.

Hotel bar restaurant in the mountains, very nice and quiet, we stopped for an aperitif. Large outdoor area with several tables, there are also deckchairs. Very panoramic with lake in front. Staff not very helpful. It is possible to stop and sleep. Easily accessible by car, several parking spaces.

I didn't use the hotel, but the camper stop, quiet place, excellent restaurant, I thought about staying one night but I extended it thanks to the very nice place.

I've known this place for many years, but I had never stopped to eat. All very simple and good. Good relationship between quality and price. The lake and the mountains form a beautiful setting, and from here you can also see Pian dell'Alpe etc. Beautiful day

You have to love the mountains and here I had what I was looking for! We didn't use the hotel but only the camper stop, surrounded by nature, the price is not cheap but we have seen much worse. The restaurant: a gem, excellent food suitable for the location (there is no seafood 😂) excellent Piedmontese wines, adequate price. We really appreciated that pets are not allowed in the restaurant, which we love but also not at the table! At home everyone does what they think best, in a public place one adapts. Unkind initial welcome.... the staff is not always trained to be more empathetic. In other people's homes you have to be polite and obviously every action corresponds to a reaction. We felt at ease almost a moment later...in fact almost pampered. 10 thumbs up to Mrs. Enza! Not enough for Mr.Victor. Highly recommended for those who love nature, mountains and relaxation.

A very nice location facing a lake behind a mountain. A hotel with a very simple restaurant, with traditional local cuisine.

Chiamarlo lago è molto di più di quanto possa definirsi la parola lago. Più che altro è un piccolo stagno alimentato dalle montagne sovrastanti con acque molto limpide e cristalline. La cosa spettacolare è il panorama con l'imponente montagna che si staglia sopra il lago medesimo. Diciamo che in 5 minuti si fa il giro lago, per carità carino e sicuramente da vedere ma nulla di più. Ottimo per posizionare una sedia a sdraio e godersi la natura..non la tranquillità dato il cospicuo numero di persone che ci sono.

Fantastico laghetto in una delle cinque borgate di Usseaux. Magica atmosfera. potete fare una passeggiata attorno al lago e poi recarvi a piedi al vicino villaggio di Laux veramente caratteristico e delizioso. Consigliato anche il pranzo al ristorante con vista sul lago: cibo buono e location perfetta.
