LaCucina In Mantova

I was looking for a cuisine in the center of Mantua that was not tied to local tradition. I really wanted to eat something else and while searching I found their page. Looking at the menu I was convinced of this and I must say that I chose well. Very happy Advise! Better to book because that Saturday for lunch it was full and luckily I found a seat 😀

What we ate was good: focaccia with burrata, anchovies and cherry tomatoes, an unseasoned focaccia, a sliced ​​with roast potatoes, a plate of tortelli with butter and parmesan, a portion of sbrisolona and 2 coffees. Drink a bottle of water. Nice place. The bill is a little high.

Esperienza più che positiva, provata una domenica abbastanza caotica dopo una visita a Palazzo Te. La cosa che salta subito all'occhio è l'attenzione per il cliente e la grande passione del titolare nel mettere insieme tutte le informazioni del caso, dai vini e alla loro produzione ai piatti serviti con l'appunto su ogni più piccolo dettaglio inserito nel piatto. Resto un po' spiazzato dal fatto che i tortelli di zucca siano solo "in bianco" (a Mantova!!!), per il vino rosso servito leggermente troppo freddo e per le tovagliette in carta, ma non c'è nulla da dire sulla qualità delle materie prime, sulla focaccia ed il salame della casa. Anche il tortello, benché solo "in bianco" ha un punto di equilibrio delizioso, la sfoglia è eccellente, il ripieno non troppo intenso ma gustoso. La carne di secondo era ottima e ben cotta, fantastiche le patate arrosto e la chiusura con "sbrisolona" e zabaione (rigorosamente della casa) erano oggettivamente da appalusi. Location ottima in pieno centro, posto che merita per il coinvolgimento che riesce a dare lo staff al cliente e per le materie prime, un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Un paio di dettagli in più e per me sarebbe quasi perfetto ma sono (appunto) dettagli ed è (appunto) il mio punto di vista. Da provare.

Nice little restaurant in the center of Mantua. Perhaps dimly lit for my tastes. Very good dishes but perhaps I would have put a few more typical dishes of the city on the menu. However, very positive experience. Adequate price.

We went to this place for lunch Located in the historic center of Mantua, it is not accessible by car. However, paid parking is nearby, so you have to walk 2/300 meters. The atmosphere of the place is very welcoming and the staff is friendly and kind. The place appears bright and very clean even if the small sign is barely noticeable from the outside. The dishes are balanced and tasty but the pumpkin-based ones are amazing. Good quality/price ratio Without a doubt a restaurant worth trying

Ordering is almost an obligation. Went for lunch on a weekend in Mantua and highly recommend it. All good. Excellent quality/price ratio, if you want to eat well, just try it.

Ottima esperienza per me e mia moglie in questo localino veramente bello, accogliente e gestito con passione. Antipasto con salumi misti e formaggi con mostarde gustosissime, e giardiniera assieme a focaccine deliziose. Ottimo il primo diviso in due, sedani con pesto di bietoline e ricotta su dadolata di pomodorini freschi.. gustoso, leggero ed estivo. Personale fantastico, disponibile e sempre sorridente. Bravi!!!
