Truly excellent place. We stopped in Mantua for the day and, out of curiosity, ended up eating at "LaCucina." The food was excellent, especially the starters. I really appreciated the fact that they offered unusual side dishes, such as purple cabbage with cumin and parmesan cheese. It was delicious. Attentive service and friendly chefs.

A truly lovely restaurant, intimate and unique in its style. The service was impeccable, attentive, and very kind. The menu was good in my opinion, while my girlfriend found some of the combinations to be very risky, making her turn up her nose at certain dishes. For my first course, I chose a focaccia with burrata stracciatella, confit cherry tomatoes, Sicilian anchovies, Taggiasca olives, and basil—out of this world. My girlfriend chose veal with tuna sauce and radish and cucumber salad. The meat was good, as was the sauce, but the cucumber salad was too much, and when eaten together, it overpowered and covered the meat's flavor. Both were good individually, but the overall dish was very unbalanced. For my second course, I chose maccheroncini with donkey stew—outstanding. My girlfriend opted for a side dish, given the very generous portions: baked pumpkin with Tropea red onion. She also didn't like the combination, but the two ingredients, eaten separately, were truly delicious. For dessert, I had a cheesecake with goat ricotta, almonds, and yogurt, which was delicious. My girlfriend, who is lactose intolerant and has no desserts that aren't lactose-free, was delighted to receive a watermelon and lemon popsicle—truly unique, original, and delicious. The bill was €89, including wine, water, and a digestif. More than fair.

A friend from Parma recommended the place: impeccable decor, all wood and meticulous attention to detail, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was extremely kind and attentive, always present but never intrusive. The staff even recommended where to buy fresh pasta: truly precious! We enjoyed dishes prepared with great care and love, with authentic and well-balanced flavors: pumpkin with caramelized onion, pumpkin ravioli... and the sbrisolona? Simply the best I've ever tasted! They offered us a freshly baked brownie with our coffee; I was in awe 🥰

Locale molto bello con un tocco scandinavo. Servizio molto attento e cortese. Menù non estesissimo ma con proposte golose dall'antipasto al dolce. Bella carta dei vini. Cibo buonissimo preparato e presentato con molto gusto. Presenza dei classici della cucina mantovana ma anche altre opzioni anche di mare. Una menzione speciale per i contorni e le verdure in generale. Cosigliatissimo.

Abbiamo cenato in questo bel locale moderno e minimale in centro a Mantova due sere fa. Per antipasto abbiamo scelto una tartare di manzo squisita e un'ottima indivia glassata con salsa allo yogurt greco, davvero sfiziosa. A seguire, ho scelto un primo: fusilli alle verdure, ed erano squisiti. Il mio compagno ha invece preso, dal fuori menù, un altrettanto ottimo vitello tonnè con insalata di puntarelle. Per dessert una cheesecake ai frutti di bosco. Abbiamo apprezzato tutti i piatti senza eccezione, davvero ben preparati e presentati. Servizio cortese e professionale. Bella e soffusa l'atmosfera in sala. Per due antipasti, un primo, un secondo, un dessert e una grappa abbiamo speso 81€. Lo consigliamo vivamente.
