The place is a bit old-fashioned but welcoming, the staff is friendly, the service is quick, the food is good, a restaurant worth revisiting.

The cuisine offers a wide selection of first courses, meat, and fish. Excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I ate an excellent capricciosa pizza

We visited L’Abruzzese last night as we were staying nearby and feeling a bit peckish. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed – the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We started with the bruschetta and the aglio e olio bruschetta – honestly, it was the best tomato bruschetta we’ve ever had! For mains, I had the penne arrabbiata, which was fresh, spicy, and absolutely delicious, while my partner had the ham pizza. Our plates were spotless within minutes – that’s how good it was. Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist dessert. The owner kindly recommended some options, and we went with the pistachio chocolate cake. It was light, absolutely delicious, and the perfect finish to the meal. As we were leaving, the staff took the time to chat with us, which made the experience even more personal and memorable. We enjoyed it so much that we’re going back again this morning before heading home to Ireland tonight. Thank you for such a wonderful experience – we would love to come back again sometime!
