La Zucca In Arola

Bella location in ottima posizione panoramica con vista sul Mottarone e il Lago di Orta. Interno molto curato ed elegante, personale attento e cordiale ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Ottimo cibo e strepitoso carrello dei dolci e formaggi. Ovviamente tutta questa attenzione si paga un po' di più ma ne vale proprio la pena. Sicuramente torneremo.

If I had to give a title to this experience, it would be, recalling Aldo' Giovanni and Giacomo, "ask me if I am happy". Because the answer would be "yes." Yes, because Zucca is a real place. It is that appropriately elegant place, where the tables are spaced just right, where the mise en place is clean and puts you at ease. Where the bread (homemade) is good and the service is precise, fast but not oppressive. It's that place where you struggle to choose the dishes on the menu, because you want to try them all. It's that place where the dish reflects exactly what you ordered, without flights of fancy, without those obsessive and now boring chases after fashions to which French guides and television programs have accustomed us. But above all where all the dishes are simply good. Rations are generous, no doubt. And if after the classic dinner you are full, seeing the beautiful dessert trolley, it will be very difficult to pass by. And you won't regret finding the space. Adequate wine list, although expandable. Fair price.

Per diversi motivi da diverso tempo non eravamo più andati in questo "buon" ristorante. Finalmente si torna! Intanto locale rinnovato e reso molto accogliente. Il menu resta ottimo. Alcune proposte che fortunatamente si ripetono perché squisite, altre nuove. Tutto perfetto. I proprietari erano e restano gentilissimi. Non possono però mancare i complimenti alla Chef. Consigliatissimo e prenotate in tempo.
