For various reasons we had not been to this "good" restaurant for some time.
Finally we're back!
In the meantime, the place has been renovated and made very welcoming.
The menu remains excellent.
Some proposals are fortunately repeated because they are delicious, others are new. Everything perfect.
The owners were and remain very kind.
However, compliments to the Chef cannot be missed.
Highly recommended and book in time.

We went to this restaurant for a special occasion and I must say that since it was a surprise, I made a good impression. From the outside it looks good and the inside is tastefully furnished and conveys warmth. The dishes are well presented, very good, portions just sufficient and prices a little above average. Excellent choice of cheeses and desserts, there are so many that you would like to eat them all. Wide choice of wines with many important labels. Compliments to the cuisine and the dining room service which It made us feel good. I recommend it to everyone.

Excellent experience in this restaurant above Omegna. Smiling and friendly girls. They welcomed us with an excellent fried meatball, it reminded me of my grandmother's. Agnolotti as first course and priest's hat at Ghemme as second course. All really good. The cart is beautiful with lots of desserts to choose from. And to finish a little pudding!! Everything perfect. We will definitely be back

Wonderful place, well-kept room, tastefully set table. I love glasses and plate sets.
The sisters are always very kind and very friendly, they make us feel like family.
Always excellent food. Whatever we try is always delicious.
Many small details such as the perfume made available for the ladies in the bathroom, the handbag stands, the extra opening and closing courses, make this little restaurant special.
For me it's a treat to come and visit you every year.

A small pearl nestled in the mountains. A place where you feel at home, pampered by Mrs Marinella's delicacies (my 7 year old daughter says that her agnolotti are the best she has ever tasted) and by the kindness of Francesca and Alessandra, her daughters. And then there is Mr. Carlo, who at 80 years old still has eyes that light up when he talks about their way of experiencing cooking and catering, about their family history. The perfect pink beef, pumpkin gnocchi that melt in your mouth, the braised cheek that moves you and then that trolley of cheeses, full of rare rarities, created by Francesca who goes looking for the products of those who still makes cheese for real.
Ah, I almost forgot the two trolleys of exquisite desserts and that head-spinning eggnog...
Well, what are you waiting for to go there?

Had dinner last night, DEVASTATING I have never eaten so well Ever!! All so delicious that you'll lose your mind, the cheese trolley and the sweet trolley will make you cry, if you don't try this location you won't understand

La Zucca is exactly the type of restaurant we seek--cooking that reflects the traditions of place, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, excellent interpretation and wine suggestion, and an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. Easily the best meal in our two weeks of travel.
Dinner: Wednesday- Friday
Lunch & Dinner: Saturday and Sunday
Reservations are necessary and can be made online (phone calls not answered).
Not the easiest place to access without a car, but well worth the effort.

Che posto!!! Dista qualche minuto di salita dal lago d'Orta, si puó combinare con una gita in ogni periodo dell'anno. Tutto ottimo, cucina tradizionale piemontese, rivisitata in modo creativo. Consiglio, tra gli antipasti, lo strudel di porri, mele e gorgonzola, le acciughe del cantabrico, il baccalá mantecato. Molto buone anche la trippa, gli agnolotti piemontesi al sugo d'arrosto, gli gnocchi di zucca con prosciutto, amaretto e cannella. Spettacolare il carrello dei formaggi e i due (due!!!) carrelli di dolci, con una vastissima scelta, credo tra una ventina di torte ed altri dessert, tutti fatti in casa. Il locale é stato rimodernato da pochi anni, il personale é cordiale, professionale, premuroso: ti fanno sentire davvero a casa.
