La Vineria di Montepulciano In Montepulciano

We had dinner last night at this typical Tuscan restaurant. The platter and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù were excellent. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant!

Excellent, authentic Tuscan food. High quality. The place is pleasant, and the service provided by Jonathan was impeccable. I recommend it.

I've returned to review this winery after years of coming to the same place, as the food is very good. I couldn't fault the food this time either, always excellent, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service. I made a reservation on October 12th for November 2nd to be sure of a guaranteed spot, as the place is small and always very busy. We arrived around 12:30 and were given a small table on the street, outside, as they had reserved a table for eight inside. I pointed out that I had booked almost twenty days in advance and that perhaps I should inform the customer that they didn't have a table inside, as in November, with a day that promised rain, I might decide to change venues. They told me, "It's not supposed to rain today." And if it had rained, what should I do? Get up and leave? Anyway, always maintaining a respectful attitude, I took a seat outside, but after that, the service got even worse. The waitress, who was barely speaking after the previous conversation, then dropped the bottle of wine and a glass, breaking it (which can absolutely happen), without even apologizing or checking to see if anyone was hurt (this can't happen. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, everyone has a bad day, but customers should always be treated appropriately). In the end, not only did we pay a not-so-cheap cover charge, but we were also given a two-euro discount, not even coffee or liqueurs were offered. What can I say? The art of catering has been lost. The food is good, but for service like this, which makes the customer feel like "one of many," given the numbers still add up, I'd rather not return to this place.

One of the best places for fresh pasta, amazing wine and other food selection. If u are near, u have to visit it, this was one of the best places in our Tuscany trip!

Great wine, great service, tasty focaccia

A tiny little place, but good things come in small packages, they say. This little place is a surprise, with a vast selection of local wines, a menu featuring platters of cured meats and cheeses, focaccia, and first courses (I don't remember if there were second courses as well). We had pici all'aglione and pappardelle with wild boar ragù... Both dishes were excellent. Two glasses of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and a focaccia with lard, pecorino, and pears. Everything was truly excellent, and the guys were perfect. Truly well done! I'm back after three years (February 25th) and I can confirm it—in fact, I'll go further—it's a shame there isn't a sixth star. Well done, well done! In Montepulciano, the Vineria is a lifelong passion! October 25th: These people are tough. They still don't disappoint...

Quick lunch in Montepulciano. Good food. Good service. The only downside is the €2.80 service charge for a paper placemat and two napkins.

I went in August for a quick lunch and ate crostoni with delicious dips. Despite having food allergies, there's a good selection, and the wine was excellent too. Thanks guys.
