La Veranda Hotel Posta In Moltrasio

Beautiful family hotel with warm and kind service. The rooms were not very big but spacious enough with a beautiful view on the lake. The breakfast was delicious with the choice of fresh egg dishes, cheeses and cut meat. For diner we reserved a table for two evenings and we ordered pasta, meat and fish dishes, all delicious. The hotel is also linked to a bar with seating outside where you can enjoy nice drinks and can order pizza. The location was fantastic as Moltrasio is a beautiful, quiet village (not so touristic) and right in front of the hotel is the ferry to visit the other villages on the lake. Make sure to check the time table because the ferry’s do not operate that frequent and only until about 8 PM in the evening.

Very romantic and charming location. The owner and staff are very kind and helpful. Quiet, lakefront location close to the pier. The only thing I can say is that breakfast could be improved. Recommended.

A real pleasure for these 2 nights spent at the hotel. The rooms are very pleasant with very good bedding. We loved our dinners with precise service with a touch of humor and kindness. And of course the great location!

Very clean. Rooms cleaned every day. Very friendly and helpful. They make a real effort. The hotel is near the boat dock, so it's easily accessible from other villages around Lake Como. The only drawback is that there aren't many other options in the same village. Would definitely go back.

It was convenient when I couldn't find a parking space in Como.

Even the food! I have been living in Italy for four years and the black rice and octopus salad is probably the best I’ve had in Italy! And don’t get me started on the coffee and the desserts! ❤️ one of the best food in Moltrasio!

Excellent hotel. The best aperitifs and snacks we have had on our Italian holiday, enjoyed on the terrace on the edge of lake Como. Great restaurant, super friendly and helpful staff, especially reception, amazing location very good value. Very small village so very few tourists. Ferry terminal two minutes from hotel.

I had such a short but lovely stay at this cute hotel, in the heart of a sleepy town along Como. The staff is so kind and the room was pristine. I appreciate how accommodating everyone was to any of my requests. I will most certainly be back as I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the on-site restaurant. A gem!
