La Veranda Hotel Posta In Moltrasio

The hotel is an excellent refuge to defend oneself from the effects of overtourism which unfortunately has now also affected Lake Como. It is a small hotel from times gone by run by the same family for generations. With other times I do not mean anything old or overcome, but a way of working of those who care what they are doing and do their work with care and passion up to the smallest details. We were particularly struck by the atmosphere in the hotel, the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, the quality of the cuisine (both for dinner and breakfast), the convenience of the garage and boarding and the tranquility of Moltrasio compared to the chaos of Como and the center of the lake.

Very kind staff, spacious and clean room, small balcony with lake view. Half board with excellent breakfast and even better dinner. Very convenient hotel for taking the ferry (just cross the road), it is best to leave the car in the garage. Very positive three day experience!

Spent here 2 nights during a short trip to Italy Would give 5+ for service : reception in terms of advice on whereabouts and what is worth seeing / spending time efficiently, impeccable service at breakfast. One really feels welcome Breakfast 🥞 excellent Location - 100m away from a boat station from which one can easily travel to Como, Menaggio, Belaggio. Yet cosy and quiet

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights over New Year's Eve 2025, which we chose primarily for its ideal location. It's located right across from the ferry dock, allowing us to get around easily and make the most of our stay. The rooms are comfortable, and we were lucky enough to have a partial view of the lake. It has everything you need to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff is this hotel's greatest asset. Always smiling, professional, and ready to accommodate even the slightest request, they made our stay even more enjoyable. It feels like a family hotel with all their thoughtful touches. The parking is a real plus, and the food at both breakfast and dinner is very good. In short, this hotel perfectly combines comfort and quality service. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to fully enjoy their stay on Lake Como.

I came alone to this hotel for my birthday! And I thank the staff for the warm welcome. Especially Patricia, she helped me build a route and gave me advice on how to get there and what to visit. I had a room with a magical view of the lake, I had a wonderful time and had a lot of fun. I'll definitely come back again!
