La Vela beach In Montesilvano

Questionable location. We sat down for a seafood lunch, but the initial impression wasn't the best: the tablecloth was stained with ash. The waitress came to take our order wearing shorts and a swimsuit top, an outfit I found inappropriate for the setting. The service was also rather disappointing; the person I believe to be the owner was superficial and quite arrogant. The only truly positive note was the dishes: good-quality fish, well-cooked, and carefully presented. Overall, however, the bill was excessive: €36 for an appetizer, a first course, and a small Coke seems decidedly excessive, especially considering the level of service and the overall experience.

The best beach in Montesilvano if you want to feel free and treated like a human being and a friend. The only serious problem is the kids who bring huge speakers to the beach and blast terrible music at high volume. A plus: the family management guarantees attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. The sea is located in the cleanest area of ​​Montesilvano, while the outskirts of town are at the mouths of the rivers. I don't even mention Pescara. Last but not least, the food. You won't eat such fresh fish at any other beach. Once you try it, you'll never go back. Lunch and dinner in a fantastic Caribbean setting. Surfboards, kitesurfing, and windsurfing rentals are also available, with award-winning instructors at your disposal.

Fresh fish, excellent service, excellent

This is such a calm and nice place to go, we found this on the last day of our holiday here and it’s probably the coolest beach place we’ve found. Run by the loveliest locals, we only ordered a couple beers but they gave us free snacks/crisps to enjoy. They spoke perfect english even tho they didn’t need to! we didn’t feel rushed and they were very accommodating! cool surfboards too! Ciao!

Excellent starter "caldo," followed by a fish platter and a fantastic pasta dish. Great service. I'd gladly come again.
