La Vecia Mescola In Verona

Excellent restaurant in the center of Verona. An elegant atmosphere with white tablecloths, a red rose, and designer lighting. The bathrooms were clean and fragrant, and there was even body lotion available when needed. The traditional local food was well-made, like the risotto with radicchio and Amarone, and the ricotta gnocchi with truffles were sophisticated. We'll definitely be back!

There's not much to say. When you find the location, service, quality, quantity, and price that meet expectations, it'll always be a 5* for me.

Tucked away in a small side street this restaurant is fantastic. We arrived around 4pm on a Tuesday and it was completely empty inside, which made it perfect to celebrate my father’s birthday lunch. First we were provided with ‘on the house’ pasta which was extremely delicious, followed by our meals which arrived super fast. The food is delicious, not ‘too salty’ as some of the reviews state, and the staff were extremely nice. we then also had dessert, which was super good and i highly recommend the tiramisu, although everything on the menu is delicious. If i were to find myself in Verona again i’d definitely return! Thankyou

Excellent dishes... Excellent service and customer care

We were guests for lunch on February 28th with family. The staff was very kind and professional. The food was excellent, the only shame was the weather. I hope to return.

I went on a recommendation; it wasn't bad, but I don't think I've ever eaten dinner this quickly, even at home. Everything arrived so quickly, especially the first course after the appetizer, that the only thing I can think of is that everything was already prepared and reheated. While I can overlook the appetizer because the polenta and parmigiana have to be made ahead of time, that's not an option for the first courses. We booked at 9:30 PM (the only available time after 7:00 PM, which was too early for us that day). At 10:45 PM on Saturday night, the dining room staff were already clearing the empty tables and making audible comments about wanting to go home. This was legitimate, but not in good taste in front of customers, especially if you gave us a 9:30 PM slot. So overall, the food was okay, but I definitely wouldn't go back.

A very elegant and welcoming restaurant with meticulous, attentive, and friendly service. Their braised beef was a culinary sensation.
