A unique dinner, dedicated to the taste and flavors of the mountains!! Spectacular grilled meat...but if you want to savor something truly unique, I recommend a first course with a funny but really good name: "I cazzarielli and beans" (nuggets of gnocchi with beans)...which made the dinner with that touch more for the palate! If I had to give a rating for the welcome, the staff and the food I would give it a 10!!! TRY TO BELIEVE!

A little out of the way restaurant passing through, simple in location but the food is very good and reflects the Abruzzo tradition. Welcoming atmosphere and good value for money. Recommended.

Incredibile come la Vecchia Pesa ogni anno quando capitiamo qui , mantenga un rapporto qualita’ / prezzo eccellente Davvero bravi nella accoglienza e nel servizio veloce e efficiente Riescono a tenere 100 coperti in tempi record e con una qualita’ ’ invidiabile Bravi

Exceptional food, from kebabs to spinach and ricotta crepes. Excellent desserts too. Simple place and always full. Reservation required

I've been coming to this restaurant for ages...the starters and first courses are very good...the meat is excellent...all grilled...the owners are friendly...what more could you ask for!

The location is extraordinary: on the five mile plateau a stone's throw from Rivisondoli and Pescocostanzo. The Debora created is pleasant, clean, comfortable. It's a shame that the south/west exposure forces you to keep the curtains closed. The dishes are traditional: tasty, stimulating. Prices are low. More care wouldn't hurt. To be recommended.

Consiglio vivamente questo posto per gli utenti in transito. Ottimo servizio, prezzi onesti e cibo di qualità. La carne davvero spettacolare: morbida e saporita. Nel weekend è consigliabile prenotare.

I highly recommend this place for transit users. Great service, honest prices and quality food. The meat is truly spectacular: soft and tasty. On weekends it is advisable to book.

04/09/2024: There were 4 of us yesterday eating at the refuge, 2 adults and 2 children, the children wanted pizza there aren't many alternatives but the refuge was certainly a good choice, as a Neapolitan and a baker and lover of pan pizza their pizza had a excellent dough and the products were really good, light crumbly, fresh ingredients... If I have to find a small flaw, perhaps a little slow service, the room was full, the management is family-run and they do what they can... Prices in the norm and honest, however well done and thank you

Ristorante Pizzeria "Taverna Vecchia"

23/12/2024: I don't think there is much risk of leaving this tavern disappointed. The food is good and genuine. Prices in the general average of the current ones (so perhaps slightly high considering the location). Friendly and courteous in service. If you like to accompany your meal with bread, ask for it because it can happen that they forget to bring it to you...
17/12/2024: Great service, really nice people. The food is delicious and the parking lot is neat and lit. The only downside is that there is no shower, but I won't give it one star less.... oh yes, the music inside is also great!!!!
