Simple and rustic place, typically trattoria. Small summer terrace. The main feature is a large wood-burning fireplace from which good quality national and foreign meats are expertly cooked. The remaining menu, endless, offers typical Roman cuisine, performed in a fluctuating way, nothing that struck me and left a memorable memory. The truly sore point is the service, maybe because it was Sunday lunch, or because of the discreet day, but it was truly incoherent, inefficient, slow, careless, inept. Prices in line with the proposals.

The place is very nice, the food is equally good and the prices are more than acceptable, we took a Florentine steak which, although already sliced ​​(so the waiter told us) was really excellent! The fried artichokes are super recommended! Just a few careless errors: the soft heart cake... well it wasn't what you expected. Cooked just enough to not be creamy. One of the waiters trivially ruined the surprise of the dessert with the candle for the birthday girl by communicating that "the birthday party with the candle is coming" and another waiter blatantly licked his fingers before taking the jugs of water before bringing them back to us. Having said this I warmly recommend it because despite being "rustic" it is really worth a visit.

Recommended by my brother, and having seen the dishes on the internet we can't wait to go there. When you arrive from outside you can already smell grilled meat. It is a place we will definitely return to and recommend, the food is really good. Thank you

Cesano di Roma è quasi fuori dal tempo, una luogo sospeso in qui la metropoli lascia il posto ad un vecchio borgo silente...e che piacere dev’essere, nella bella stagione, accomodarsi ai tavoli apparecchiati all’esterno nella caratteristica piazzetta, come a ritrovarsi in una fotografia d’epoca. Se avete voglia di funghi, non perdete l’opportunità di una bella scorpacciata. I porcini, arrosto o fritti, sono semplicemente strepitosi, un’autentica leccornia!!! Ottimi anche i primi piatti: stringozzi al sugo di castrato gustosissimi , e i sorprendenti tagliolini al tartufo nero (da segnalare la qualità della materia prima!!!). Carne alla brace molto buona ma non proprio indimenticabile a dire il vero, o per meglio dire lievemente al di sotto delle aspettative: abbacchio a scottadito che avrei gradito più tenero e succoso, e fegatini di maiale un tantino coriacei al morso. Dettagli comunque trascurabili, che non hanno in fin dei conti guastato la piacevolezza di una gran bella mangiata. Personale giovane e puntuale, e conto davvero super corretto, anche in relazione alla varietà ed alla qualità delle proposte. Una di quelle trattorie dove si esce sazi e contenti, con quel piccolo e piacevole rimpianto di non aver priovato tutto, e con l’impegno quindi di tornare quanto prima!!!
