La Vecchia Malga In Bologna

Exquisite food and a super attentive waiter (Thanks for the Taleggio cheese tasting!) I had the pleasure of dining here last night, sampling excellent cured meats and a truly unforgettable lasagna. My enthusiasm prompted me to return for lunch today, where I tried the equally delicious tortellini with ragù. A special thanks goes to the young man who served me. His attentive service was commendable. Despite my hesitation about the Taleggio cheese, he was kind enough to bring me a sample of the creamed version, in addition to the chopped version I had ordered. Furthermore, today, he was kind enough to offer me a local digestif, a much-appreciated gesture, especially given the busy Saturday service. Exquisite food and excellent staff: a winning combination that deserves top marks.

As a former Bolognese, I often come here when I pass through Bologna: right in the center, a very quaint restaurant, and good traditional food. I especially recommend the platters; there's something for everyone.

The place is very nice and located right in the center, easy to get to. The cured meats are excellent quality and the wine is really good. The only downside is the prices, which are a little higher than average. Overall, however, a pleasant experience.

A very nice place, with excellent quality cured meats and cheeses, an exceptional selection, and delicious traditional tortellini! Wide selection of wines, friendly and helpful staff. All this on one of the most beautiful and characteristic streets in Bologna. Highly recommended!

Everything was truly excellent, from the tigelle and crescentine to the cured meats. A highly recommended lunch break in a place where you can truly experience the authenticity of Bologna.

We where a bit unlucky to have a heavy rain when we were looking for a place to eat and was difficult to find a free table in a restaurant, but in the end we found here a small spot. Was really crowded inside, but we managed. We had a bootle of Lambrusco and two different plates of cold cuts and cheeses which were good. In the same space is a shop from which you can buy all types of meats, cheeses or pasta.

Everything was delicious. My friend Diana recommended it, and she's almost never wrong!

Tourist trap. We sat here because of the loud and vibrant atmosphere of the narrow street with the dellys at the side. Pasta prices we mid range wine was at the high end of prices. We order the ragu And the tortellini in broth. The ragu was ok nothing special, the tortellini arrived half cocked I asked the waiter to take it back and he fixed it . The broth was good the tortellini average. Wine to was over priced. The ambient of the street is nice but I wouldn't recommend it . Also for knowledge every two minutes some one disturbse you and tries to sell to you some crap it's quite annoying
