La Vecchia Macina In Roviano

27/12/2024: I went in without a reservation, but luckily there was an empty table. Since today is my last day in Rome, I thought I should eat properly~^^ Wow~ This place is really delicious. The price range is a bit high. But it’s not a waste~ I feel like I ate a lot of truffles... Antipasta is beef carpaccio, Prime is carbonara, The second dish was filet steak (I ordered it well-done because it usually needs to be leveled up a notch, and it came out really well done haha). Dessert is cappuccino and tiramisu. Tiramisu is really awesome!! The two male and female serving staff (wendy & him) were so friendly that I had a pleasant meal! I was so happy~^^

26/12/2024: I had the pleasure of enjoying Christmas Dinner here with my wife this year, as we spent the holiday on vacation in Rome. I was a little worried we wouldn’t be able to eat somewhere nice due to us just flying in a couple days prior, but the staff was nice and told me to email the owner. After a few emails with the owner they were able to squeeze my wife and I in for dinner service last minute. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the staff was amazingly friendly, and the food was exceptional. We were even shown the truffles they were using for that days service and you could tell by smell alone how great the truffles were. I had the Beef Fillet with white truffle, and my wife had the Ravioli with white truffle, and they were both exceptional. Combine that with a great Tiramisu for desert and this restaurant was the highlight of my holiday in Rome. Definitely stop here if you get a chance to for dinner. Oh and, they make a great Negroni.
