We had breakfast and dinner here every day during our stay. I can't understand the bad reviews from the complaining German tourists. I had the Florentine, tuna pizza, and wild boar ragout. Everything was excellent. The owners were incredibly friendly and chatted with us for a while. They even gave us a parting gift because we'd been there every day. You reap what you sow. If you behave well, you'll be treated accordingly.

A very cozy restaurant with an atmospheric garden on Piazza Garibaldi. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent Tuscan cuisine and good wines.

A restaurant in the historic center of Scarlino, serving traditional cuisine that's good but not exceptional. They're reluctant to accommodate requests for variations (we'd asked for a little more cheese on the mixed platter, given the presence of a vegetarian, but they didn't accommodate our request). The meat, which was average, was cooked a bit too well. The only drawback is the temperature, which was extremely hot, bordering on uncomfortable for dining, despite the air conditioning in the dining room.

Very nice place, friendly staff, good food. We had a very pleasant evening, followed by a walk up to the castle. Excellent experience.

Friendly and helpful, typical Tuscan dishes, good food, fair prices, quaint location, it was a pleasant evening. It's a shame we couldn't dine outside due to the very unpredictable weather. Recommended. I regret not having photographed all the dishes.
