La Vecchia Cantina In Catanzaro

Excellent typical restaurant located in the northern part of the city. The typical dishes (morzello made to order) and the meat dishes are good. The wine cellar is decent.

You eat well... but you pay a lot... exaggerated... for what they bring...

Quite disappointed. You can't serve a platter of cold cuts with just one micro mozzarella, 2 slices of spicy salami and a few slices of I don't know what, accompanied by some grilled vegetables Also ordered some sausage, served on a plain plate without even a minimal side dish. I would recommend paying more attention to the dishes, a respectable cured meat platter presents the right variety of them. Do not present second courses, especially meat ones, just as they come out of the pan, put a minimal sprinkling of vegetables on top. In my opinion, the well-furnished and clean place has much more potential.

Gruppo di camperisti a pranzo nel ristorante, si mangia benissimo portate abbondante e piatti molto appetitosi. Gestore molto bravo e preparato, personale educato e attento a esaurire tutte le nostre esigenze.

È la seconda volta che mangio in questo locale e non sono stata delusa neppure questa volta. Il locale sorto su un casale dell'800 rispecchia la sua storia con un arredo adeguato. Abbiamo scelto un menù a base di funghi e che funghi! Antipasto molto vario, due primi ottimi riso e tagliolini con porcini, come secondo abbiamo preferito patate e funghi al forno. Una scorpacciata. I proprietari molto gentili come i camerieri sorridenti e pronti ad accogliere le richieste. Ortaggi del loro orto hanno un sapore veramente genuino. Torneremo per assaggiare altre pietanze che seguono la tradizione ma con qualcosa di originale. Abbiamo fatto 70 km per venire in questo posto ma il viaggio ne vale la pena
