Very quiet place with a special charm, great service and spectacular food.

La Vecchia Bottega is a restaurant where we really enjoyed our time. The food is excellent, the staff very kind and attentive. The only flaw: the room temperature was a little too cold. Overall, absolutely recommended!

I just left dinner at this place and I'm leaving with a very happy stomach and heart. It was my last dinner in Bologna and I chose the best place I could wish for. I have been in this city for 3 days and I have not eaten as well anywhere as here, nor osterias recommended by influencers, or anything, come here and you will know what it is to enjoy food on another level. I ordered the lasagna with ragout and the chocolate souffle, each bite was a little piece of heaven. The soufle was like eating hot chocolate inside a cake, something incredible😋😋 The place is beautiful, small and cozy like being at home, that's how the owners make you feel with their warm and friendly treatment. Very simple little place, it's like going to a friend's house to eat. In fact, the owners welcome you as if you were at home. Delicious cured meats, beautiful wine list, excellent aubergine parmigiana. Well done

An absolute gem in this city. The food was absolutely incredible, and the service made you feel like a friend of the family. Why would you fight the crowds in the city centre when this incredible place exits! The meat and cheese board was wonderful, the pasta was incredible, and the tiramisu is among the best I’ve ever had.

Very interesting shop converted into a restaurant. A sociable and quiet environment, the few seats allow for a direct and pleasant experience with the guys who run it. Excellent food, ditto platters and extensive wine selections. Prices definitely below average but superior quality. Highly recommended!
