Excellent welcome and a truly welcoming environment. We ate a delicious platter of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by a pleasant red wine. Congratulations to Federico... a great host!

12 seats, intimate and well-kept place. You feel pampered, excellent quality food and wine, more than affordable price. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The taste of the food was amazing, and the owners and their children were very friendly, so I highly recommend them. The food was so delicious that I couldn't believe it was in Japan, and I felt that it was truly Borolla. It seems like the store name has changed, so be careful. GRATZE!!!

A great find in Bologna! A must do if you're around the city. Great and cozy environment, fair prices, staff are amazing and super friendly, and the food is one of the best experiences we had around Italy! We had the pasta with funghi and the lasagna (which matches amazingly with the red wine). Also, the best tiramisu I ever had. Definitely coming back again next time in Bologna :)

Couple of enterprising young people, you can eat very good local dishes, you can also enjoy some interesting platters. Few tables so better to call.

A small, old-fashioned neighborhood shop, run by two kind and friendly guys. This in itself is an element of rarity nowadays. If we also consider that there are few places that offer TRUE traditional cuisine... I'd say chapeau! I ate there on 3 occasions in total: twice for dinner and once for lunch. It's the typical environment that I would always frequent: good food, spartan environment, open counter (where you can shop for cured meats and cheeses) and nice smiles. The food FULLY met my expectations and tastes as I was looking for an AUTHENTIC Bolognese cuisine experience. The cutting boards (I don't have any photos, damn) were very well thought out, as was the wine pairing. Final note: the ragù. That blessed homemade ragù (in the photo)... I've never eaten anything like it, I dream about it at night. And this is coming from someone who isn't easily upset. So? book and go if you want an authentic, peaceful and socially fulfilling experience.

La Vecchia Bottega is a restaurant where we really enjoyed our time. The food is excellent, the staff very kind and attentive. The only flaw: the room temperature was a little too cold. Overall, absolutely recommended!
