La Vecchia Bottega In Bologna

If, like me, you're only in Bologna for one night, come to dinner at Vecchia Bottega and fill up on delicious food, excellent wine, and lovely people! Not knowing what to choose, I ventured a request, which was greeted with a smile. I came for the tagliatelle, and then I ordered a platter, two first courses, and dessert. Everything was excellent, like home-made, but even better because the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Even though I was alone, I felt like I was part of the whole place. The tiramisu is special. My week of Italian vacation ends beautifully and sweetly!

The atmosphere and people are top notch. If you go around Christmas, you might even be lucky enough to meet the IRDVDC group hosting a dinner, a very fun and convivial occasion. If so, ask for MM, a highly regarded contemporary poet.

One of the best places we've ever been to. The atmosphere was friendly, Roberto and Federico made us feel right at home. They were honest and kind, and the food was delicious and the prices were great! A place where you can feel at home and savor authentic Bolognese cuisine. Another great thing is that dogs are welcome and very well looked after! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

Really nice restaurant, got a table thanks to being there early, otherwise a reservation might be needed. The antipasti was amazing with high quality ham, salami, sun-dried tomatoes and cheese. I also tried the lasagna which was amazing. Can only recommend!
