La Triestina In Lucca

A quick stop at this restaurant for an impromptu dinner. We had: - a pizza: very good and inexpensive (€10 - much cheaper than at home). - ravioli: delicious BUT you can't be starving; there were 10 ravioli on the plate in total!!! For dessert, we wanted profiteroles, but they were sold out. So we asked for something else (I don't remember the names), but they were sold out too. Basically, there was only tiramisu and crème brûlée left. To top it all off, we were pleasantly accompanied by lots of little midges that came to stay in our glasses or on our plates (I think they were attracted by the lamps on the tables). For the price, it's reasonable: we paid €39 for 1 cocktail, 1 beer, 1 pizza, and ravioli. At the beginning of the meal, they offer a welcome drink.

Super nice informal, skillful serving of the most delicious Italian dishes. Highly recommended 👌🇮🇹👌

Very nice ambience, we were given a really warm welcome, the staff were super child-friendly. The food was good, not super cheap, but the price was okay.
