The food is excellent as always. While the wait was sometimes a bit long in the past, especially during peak season, the wait is perfect. Just outside the tourist crowds, the wait is perfect.
Friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere, and the view of the lake is exceptional.

If you want to eat well on Lake Como, the LaTrave restaurant is an absolute insider tip. A fantastic restaurant with a beautiful view of Lake Como. The food is very good, with fantastic pasta, fish, and meat dishes and delicious salads. The desserts are amazing. One of the best restaurants on Lake Como. They still serve authentic Italian cuisine, which isn't a given in Italy anymore. The pasta and meat dishes are simply a dream; you rarely find them on Lake Como these days. The owners, from the grandmother to the mother and son, have the cellar completely under control, so the service is simply top-notch.

Waiting more than 3 hours to get less than half of a 38 euro menu is very limited. We left before the end of the meal.

A favorite little spot, if you want to taste authentic Pizzoccheri and Sciatt (the best!!), you absolutely must come here. Super cute location, friendly and helpful staff. Must try!
