I must admit, as a true Emiliano, that I never expected to eat like this on Lake Garda. This beautiful and elegant place exudes an extraordinary passion for their work, but the food!!! Incredible dishes, always maintaining the simplicity of flavors and traditions, like the lake fish!! Of all the Michelin-starred restaurants I've tried in my life, this is by far the best! And where I'm from, Modena, I can assure you, it's packed!! Truly, congratulations to this family that has run the restaurant for three generations!!!

We treat ourselves to this dining experience once a year. It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades. Here, there's substance, heart, and authenticity. Equally unforgettable are the conversations between courses with Signora Orietta: listening to her family's history, the secrets behind each recipe, the attention to detail in choosing the restaurant's fabrics and the elegant tableware... everything contributes to a true symphony of emotions and flavors. A place to return to whenever you have the chance.

La Tortuga is hospitality at its finest. Orietta is a perfect host, her mother is a superlatively good chef and her daughter is a very professional waitress. From the moment you arrive at the jewel like space you feel enveloped by a sense of love and care that extends to all aspects of the experience. The food is very refined and they have a great wine selection. I would especially recomend the linguine with fish ragu and the zabaglione, both of which were memorable. Expensive but great value. I recomend booking well in advance.
