Equally unforgettable are the conversations between courses with Signora Orietta: listening to her family's history, the secrets behind each recipe, the attention to detail in choosing the restaurant's fabrics and the elegant tableware... everything contributes to a true symphony of emotions and flavors. La Tortuga is hospitality at its finest. Orietta is a perfect host, her mother is a superlatively good chef and her daughter is a very professional waitress. From the moment you arrive at the jewel like space you feel enveloped by a sense of love and care that extends to all aspects of the experience. The food is very refined and they have a great wine selection. I would especially recomend the linguine with fish ragu and the zabaglione, both of which were memorable. Expensive but great value. I recomend booking well in advance.

My wife and I went here while were in Lake Garda for our honeymoon and for us both, it was the best meal we’ve ever had. Fresh, local ingredients cooked and prepared to perfection, helpful and extremely attentive and friendly service (above and beyond), amazing wine and pairing help… best risotto and scallops we have ever had as well. Incredible food, worthy of a trip! The restaurant is cozy, chic and located in the quaint town of Gargnano in Lake Garda. While the dishes are seafood heavy, the chef was able to alter the selections to accomodate my shellfish allergy. Best lemon risotto we have ever had!! The dishes are so light and delectable, especially the branzino. Don't miss out on desserts. Beautiful porcelain serverware. Highly recommend- 10/10.

Nuestro regalo de las vacaciones. Un restaurante increíble - peculiar con una decoración encantadora y ambiente y comida fantástica. Tuvimos el menú degustación de 5 platos con maridaje de vinos y fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos comido. El servicio fue amable, profesional y amable. La presentación de todo era hermoso - cristalería, vajilla, etc - solo una experiencia maravillosa. Gracias por darnos una velada tan memorable.

Five course tasting menu is the way to go if you are here for the first time. Everything was phenomenal the food the service and the ambiance 👏the pasta dish was the highlight of the meal.
