Excellent Sunday meal with excellent local products.

This friendly family saved us since we had a flat tire we couldn’t go to our planned lunch and once our car was driving again it was around 5 pm, a very difficult time to find an open restaurant for dinner in Italy. She was ready to cook for us even though she was alone and so we had our private restaurant with absolutely delicious homemade food… what a treat it was. Our day was saved after waiting for 4 hours in the car. ☺️ The best house wine we’ve ever had too.. We can recommend all the dishes, the pasta with the beans was so flavorful and the raviolis outstanding. Also the meat was cooked to perfection. We wish we lived closer, it would be one of our favorite restaurants.

My husband and I got married at Domus Laeta. We had our rehearsal dinner here and it is STILL being talked about by our guests as their favorite meal in Italy. The food was outstanding, the restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff treated us like family. They let us use their speaker, connect to the aux, and dance for as long as we wanted. In addition to our rehearsal dinner, we also grabbed a last minute lunch for our guests the day after our wedding. They stayed open late to make food for us that was just as delicious as the first meal. Could not say enough good things about them!

I just had my wedding dinner at La Toretta, and I can't thank them enough for making it such a special night for me, my family, and my friends, especially on such short notice. The service was absolutely incredible, and truly my wedding would not have been the same without them. The food was unbelievable, easily some of the best Italian I've ever had. When our saxophone player had to stop, they even kept the energy alive with their own music system, joining in the festivities and making the night unforgettable. La Toretta isn't just about amazing food (though it really is the best of the best), it's about the warmth, the family vibe, and the way they make you feel at home. I highly recommend La Torretta! It’s not the easiest task organising a wedding from overseas and with a language barrier, and there were definitely moments where I was worried about how it would all fall into place on the day, without having visited the location in person. But the best decision I made was trusting my gut and choosing this restaurant for our dinner. I could already feel the warmth from them in our emails, and then on the wedding evening itself since we were having so much fun, we decided to continue the rest of the evening here, with the agreement of the owners who were so flexible with us! Our saxophonist played between the two long tables that were set up according to my wishes, and we gave our guests the choice between two menus that I had chosen earlier. The food was fantastic, homemade, authentic, delicious, just what you want when you travel to Italy. They kept the drinks flowing the entire evening, nobody ever had an empty glass. And most of all, we felt welcomed, and at home. It’s the family, the people here who make it special. They kept it open for us until 4am, again totally unplanned, but because we were all having so much fun, they joined in too, some local kids were dancing with us, it was simply beautiful. This is the kind of Italian culture that you can appreciate, this is why we chose this part of the world to celebrate our marriage. Thank you La Torretta for your hospitality and for helping to make our wedding night special and memorable.
