La Torre Osteria et Bottega In Scarperia

Found this place by chance and it was a great discovery...my partner and I went there for dinner, the pizza was excellent and the Florentine steak was exquisite, not to mention the exceptional desserts...everything was so good that we went back for lunch the next day...fantastic value for money...the staff was really welcoming...highly recommended

We arrived with a group of friends after a day at the circuit, the staff was immediately super helpful and friendly, everything we ate was very good from the appetizers to the steak. Honest prices for the quality. I really recommend it if you are passing through

First very good, family atmosphere

After a nice ride on our motorbikes we stopped at Osteria La Torre, where we were welcomed with courtesy and availability. We were offered the choice between the internal room and the veranda, and we opted for the latter: a good choice. The environment is quiet, well-kept, surrounded by hedges and flowers, with a light breeze that made lunch very pleasant, despite the hot day. The menu is not very extensive and the choice is rather limited, but the quality of the raw materials is evident. We tried two appetizers: really excellent raw meat and fried boiled meatballs, surprising for how tasty they were. For second courses, decent cod and very tender pork livers, which melted in the mouth. The bill is a little above average, but the quality of the food and the context justify it. Overall, a pleasant and well-kept stop, which we gladly recommend.

New dinner at this restaurant and I must say that we ate very well once again. I tried the pici with duck ragù (good, even if in terms of size they seemed more like spaghetti than pici), a pizza with burrata, chicory and ventricina (very good) and for dessert a revisited pecorino and pear, very good. Good glass of wine (a good Tuscan red).

Nuova cena in questo ristorante e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene ancora una volta. Io ho assaggiato i pici al ragù di anatra (buoni, anche se come dimensioni sembravano più spaghetti che pici), una pizza con burrata, cicoria e ventricina (molto buona) e come dolce un pecorino e pere rivisitato, molto buono. Buono il calice di vino (un buon rosso toscano).

Altra serata in questo ristorante e altra recensione positiva. Devo dire infatti che abbiamo mangiato molto bene ancora una volta. Antipasti: polpette di lesso con maionese e salsa verde, buone. Piatti del giorno: tortelli Mugellani ai prugnoli molto buoni (i funghi in particolare sono tra i migliori mai assaggiati, anche se io li avrei abbinati con dei tagliolini e non con pasta ripiena) e maiale allo stato brado con cicoria (davvero molto ma molto buono!). Dolce: Budino de Medici (budino al caramello) davvero buonissimo. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon rosso locale e da un buon vino francese. Insomma, ristorante decisamente consigliato
