Magnificent evening at Torre di Merlino, characterized by quality, tasty cuisine and the family hospitality that the owners, Antonio and Manuela, reserved for us. Few times do you feel so comfortable in a place, feeling pampered and welcomed as we did yesterday. Chef Antonio's menu offers a choice for all tastes, including traditional Salento land and sea dishes, cooked in an authentic yet refined way. Manuela is an excellent hostess, able to advise the customer and guide him in his choices. We can't wait to return!

We have had a month in Italy and this was the best pasta meal(s) we have had. The house special was to die for, as was the tagliatelle Bolognese. All the appetizers and entrees were a delight. The wine was great and the service was excellent. Magnificent. VictorB

I have been frequenting this place for years and I continue to love it for the accuracy of the food, the enchanting place, the unique and very pleasant welcome of the owners.

We have been coming here since 2015 (as you can see from the picture I posted of my son every year. Lol). The food and wine have always been great. We haven’t been here since 2019 and since then some things have changed. The biggest change is they don’t make pizza anymore. It’s a bit of a disappointment because that’s what my kids used to eat here. They have upped their game and seem to be leaning toward more upscale dining. The downfall is that it is no longer kid friendly. However, the food we had was amazing and the service was ok (not as good as I remember). I had the cacio e pepe bombette and the dish was AMAZING.

Dinner for 3 today (09 September 24) very pleasant staff the dishes are copious and delicious the rating quite high but definitely worth trying

The food was very tasty! Although the tasting menu contained very heavy dishes. We had a great evening anyway 👌

Situato nel centro storico di Lecce in una piazzetta che non ha nulla di particolare. Personale gentile., servizio buono. Spaghetti alle vongole deludenti, tartare di tonno buona. Prezzo troppo elevato rispetto alla qualità.
