Today, while exploring Tuscania, we stopped at this restaurant and were truly satisfied.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease right away.
We started with a beef tartare with raw artichokes, broccoli, and hazelnuts: an original and truly delicious combination.
The cheese selection was also excellent, with a wide variety and distinct flavors.
For main courses, we chose pork tenderloin with apple sauce and a sliced beef steak with artichokes and truffle: carefully prepared, flavorful, and of the highest quality.
What can I say... an experience worth repeating! Highly recommended.

Delicious food, generous portions but reasonably priced. The waitress was very kind, attentive but not pushy.
All the dishes we ordered and tasted were excellent, the meat was top notch.
Not recommended.

Excellent, meticulously prepared food. The outdoor terrace overlooking the Lavello Tower is lovely. Attentive and attentive service, though still a bit underwhelming. If we return to Tuscania, we'll definitely stop by.

Trattoria-Pizzeria La Torre di Lavello, located in the heart of Tuscania and named after the Romans' name for the Etruscans ("Tusci"), offers a welcoming atmosphere steeped in historical ambiance.
The dinner featured carefully prepared dishes full of character: a rustic house appetizer with mixed cold cuts and grilled vegetables; beef tartare with Tropea onions, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped pistachios, and a fresh and harmonious homemade mayonnaise; Gragnano spaghetti with cacio e pepe served over creamed beetroot soup, an original and successful combination. All accompanied by a good red wine.
Fast service, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

Very nice restaurant. We had lunch on the terrace, surrounded by plants and boasting a beautiful view of the tower and the valley. The food was excellent, with a wide selection on the menu.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
