I'm giving it 4 stars simply because the bill was a bit steep. We ate well, but for what we ate, I'd say the price was very high. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

This evening my family and I had dinner at the Captain's. Everything was excellent. We had both the set menu and my daughters had pizza. Excellent quality, excellent product. The prices are much lower than many others above that don't even offer a panoramic view like this. I recommend it and we will be back as soon as possible.

For the place where the structure is located with outdoor tables and a beautiful view, very romantic in the evening I give 5 stars for the rest mediocre, we ordered 2 pizzas (1 capricciosa and 1 bufalina, which in my opinion was a Margherita), I expected better given that we paid €11 per pizza, exaggerated prices, and they are not very elaborate pizzas and which can be found at very low prices. The waiting time was 45 minutes (for the pizzas), a shame, the structure has great potential, but for the rest there is more than something to review...

A truly wonderful visit, I was there at sunset and it's impossible to look away! The staff is very friendly and kind, but the food is not good at all and the prices are way too high, plus the waits are absurd.

It was a magical experience, the atmosphere in the evening is wonderful. The place is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff are very kind and helpful, attentive to your every need. We will definitely be back.

26/08/2025: We spent a wonderful evening strolling through the streets of Caserta Vecchia. We stopped at this restaurant for dinner. We sat at a table on a small terrace. The food was excellent, especially the meat. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Prices are quite reasonable.
04/08/2025: I returned on vacation here in Casertavecchia for the 4th time, this restaurant is now my regular stop, a fairly cool place, I went for lunch, after seeing the castle from outside, and there is also a beautiful view from the garden. The waiter is kind and always ready to satisfy your needs, especially quickly. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù are timeless. See you next time!
