La Torre In Spilimbergo

We have been there several times and this last one was also special: beautiful location starting from the stupendous frescoed façade, the beautiful and almost severe room, excellent and well-harmonised food, choice of wines which were not obvious as usual and well matched to the dishes, service attentive and kind. Truly a total experience, I recommend it

Very original location, obviously. Absolutely worth trying.

The setting of the castle is truly magnificent. Entering by car through the ancient door has its effect. The place is well-kept and very “castle-like” (pass the term). Meter is very knowledgeable about both wine and pairings. I suspect he is also a sommelier. Well-prepared and well-presented dishes, almost worthy of a star. A dinner for two with 2 starters, 1 first course, 1 second course, 2 desserts and 4 glasses of wine we got by with €147. Absolutely worth trying.
