La Torre In Spilimbergo

Very original location, obviously. Absolutely worth trying.

The setting of the castle is truly magnificent. Entering by car through the ancient door has its effect. The place is well-kept and very “castle-like” (pass the term). Meter is very knowledgeable about both wine and pairings. I suspect he is also a sommelier. Well-prepared and well-presented dishes, almost worthy of a star. A dinner for two with 2 starters, 1 first course, 1 second course, 2 desserts and 4 glasses of wine we got by with €147. Absolutely worth trying.

Disproportionate prices: the place is very beautiful, of course, but ...Spilimbergo is not Venice. It's exaggerated to pay 12 euros for a small portion dessert.
