UPDATE 2025: As Gen Zers say this place has had a glow up. In November 2024 it had a golden week with guests including great Italian actors and directors interviewed after the screening of their work (Sorrentino, Muccino etc.). In the meantime, a place to eat next door has also finally opened (ironically called Il Botteghino). Finally, at the Bifest festival A24 made a nice focus by sending great films from this production company at the cost of just 3 euros per ticket. The fifth star is very close, I would keep the bar prices low, I would keep the box office open even for those leaving the 9pm film and I would increase the themed gadgets. Let's update as soon as possible! This cinema has always been a guarantee for me and my friends because it is located in the center of the city, with a large number of rooms, sometimes V.O. screenings, clean bathrooms, many agreements for both students and members with membership cards, and in the summer also the beautiful special "Arena 4 Palme" room. In light of this high standard for not being a chain, it is very sad that at the premiere of Barbie, one of the most anticipated films of the year with a multitude of people, everything went wrong on the technical side. The film started and stopped three times in the original language screening and twice in the dubbed one. Furthermore, in the V.O. room on one of the hottest days of the year the air conditioning kept cutting out, leading to protests from the public; the projection in the various attempts was blurry and even when it finally went well a fly was projected moving on the film until the end of the projection. It is also disappointing that the only gadget for this film event was the Barbie cup of paid popcorn and not the poster like other films (in general the merchandise is one of the weak points of this cinema compared to the competition). Once upon a time event t-shirts were even made.... In short, an excellent cinema where, however, an inexplicable fall in style of this kind will need to be quickly corrected by the staff so as not to affect the next event films, which thank God in the world of streaming and after the pandemic still bring many people to the cinema.

The Multicinema Galleria in Bari confirms itself as a point of reference for cinema lovers in the city. It is located in a very central position, a stone's throw from the station, so it is very easy to reach both on foot and by public transport. The rooms are welcoming and well kept, the acoustics are excellent, and the programming is always rich and varied; there is also the possibility of seeing films in the original language (with Italian subtitles). Special events, meetings with directors and actors, thematic reviews, etc., are organized throughout the year. In summer it is possible to see second-run films in the Arena 4 Palme, in a "room under the stars" surrounded by palm trees and gardens. The staff is always friendly and available to advise on any discounts (when applicable). If you want to give a gift, it is also possible to buy the multi-entry card which is combined with a small box with some chocolates inside. The only flaw to report is the lack of ashtrays and baskets at the entrance to the structure - where people often stop to smoke -. The Galleria is the cinema for all those who love the big screen and want to stay in the city center, without necessarily having to use the car to reach the other multiplexes.
